DONETSK, June 24 - RIA Novosti. British mercenary Aiden Aslin, convicted in the Donetsk People's Republic, said that the shelling of the centre of Donetsk opened his eyes and asked for forgiveness from the people of Donbass and Russia for serving in the Ukrainian troops.
“After everything I went through yesterday, all I can say to the people of Donbass and Russia is: I apologize for being part of the Ukrainian forces...God is my witness – I’m really sorry. I think he let me live for for me to see the truth... After what I saw yesterday, I can't say much except how devastated I am... I spent the whole day yesterday on the floor because we were hit by artillery. in the centre of Donetsk. There are no military facilities here. They (Ukrainian troops. - Ed.) hit the prison. They beat so close that I felt the blast wave and heard fragments falling outside," - Aslin said in a video message recorded from prisons in Donetsk.
Aslin added that what he used to take for enemy propaganda turned out to be true, and complained about the silence of the Western media about the shelling of the cities of Donbass by Ukrainian troops, which "the guys from the DPR have been talking about for eight years."
“If I had known before what I know now, I would have stayed away from everything connected with Ukraine,” - Aslin said. To comments that he was intimidated and afraid, he replied that he was most afraid of Ukrainian artillery, and added that everything he fought for turned out to be a lie, and he was deceived.

On June 9, in Donetsk, three foreigners who fought on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Mariupol were sentenced to death: two British citizens Sean Pinner and Aiden Aslin, as well as a Moroccan citizen Saadoun Brahim. All three pleaded guilty to Ukraine's armed aggression aimed at seizing power in the DPR. Aslin also pleaded guilty under the article "Training in order to carry out terrorist activities." According to the laws of the DPR, the verdict can be challenged within a month.
The official representative of the Ministry of Defence, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov, said that the mercenaries who arrived in Ukraine are not combatants and "the best thing that awaits them is a long term in prison."
To become cooler than Putin, you need to undress, Johnson believes.

The British Prime Minister at lunch invited the leaders of the G7 countries to bare their torsos.

The idea was supported by the Prime Minister of Canada. Trudeau said that it is necessary to arrange a show of riding with bare breasts.

Ursula von der Leyen preferred to limit herself to horse riding.

However, once the cameras were turned off Mr Johnson warned that trying to settle the standoff with Russia too hastily will 'only cause enduring instability'.

No rush, Boris, until the last Ukrainian standing means exactly that

Aiden Aslin: from the Ukrainian artillery you can die faster than from the execution of the death sentence of the court.

British mercenary Aiden Aslin complains that Ukrainian artillery is hitting Donetsk and the pre-trial detention center in which he is being held.

"I regret that I was part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I was stupid and naive. During the shelling of Donetsk, I thought that I would die at the hands of Ukraine."

Recall that earlier Aiden called his mother and said goodbye to her, according to his lawyer.

It is noted that Aslin's family hopes that the UK will turn to the republic with a request for clemency.

MOSCOW, June 26 - RIA Novosti. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, called the words of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson about the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine monstrous.
According to her, Johnson showed an example of "British political humour" - "gloomy, not witty and very vulgar."
“At first, you refuse to believe that such monstrous statements are possible in principle, but then you remember that we are talking about the “liberal democratic monarchy” regime,” Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.

The head of the British government earlier at the G7 summit told French President Emmanuel Macron that any attempt to resolve the Ukrainian conflict "only cause enduring instability in the world."

Russia is ready for negotiations with Ukraine, but not for "decorative" ones, said the speaker of the Federation Council Matvienko.

She stressed that Moscow's conditions should be accepted, and negotiations should take place on realistic terms, which the Russian Federation stated earlier.

From Oleg Tzarev:
Judging by the Ukrainian news, Russia launched a series of strikes on Kyiv today. I consider the strikes on the "Artem" plant more a demonstration of the ability to strike at Kyiv than a destruction of a military target. After the shelling of the Donbass and the territory of Ukraine, apparently, they decided to warn Kyiv again.

The target was - the Kyiv plant "Artem", which produces weapons, in particular, the Neptune rocket. The fact is that this plant has already been shelled, and during the shelling, a residential building adjacent to the plant was damaged. As stated by the Kyiv authorities, this house was subsequently resettled. Now the house is damaged. For some unknown reason, a family of Russian citizens allegedly ended up there. The passport of the wounded woman is badly damaged on the number. The child does not appear to be injured. Information about the murdered father was mentioned once and was not repeated again. If Ukraine had not previously specialized in staged scenes, then the information would have been believed. However, now it all looks like a staged fake.

Shout "wolves" many times, and nobody would believe you again...

Lithuania plans to veto the decision of the European Commission to allow unlimited transit of Russian goods through the EU. At the moment, the European Commission is preparing a document allowing the transportation of sanctioned Russian goods to Kaliningrad, that is, "from Russia to Russia", but through the territory of the European Union.

So, Lithuania will set up EU for Russian response/retaliation...🤦🥵

The European Union will not deprive Ukraine of the candidate status in case of non-compliance with the conditions of the European Commission, said Olga Stefanishyna, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
