The further development in the situation with the freedom of access to the information in Moldova appears really worrying.

We have already written about the huge increase in funding of the pro-western propaganda in Moldova:

It appears like a new front of the Info-War is emerging.

Moldova bans Russian news programs
Moldovan President Sandu signs law banning Russian news programs

CHISINAU, June 19 - RIA Novosti. Moldovan President Maia Sandu signed a law banning news programs from Russia, said the head of the Council on Television and Radio, Liliana Vitsu, on the air of the Rezoomat online project on the Rlive Internet channel.
She noted that next Friday, June 24, the law will be published in the Official Gazette, after which it will come into force.

“The concept of disinformation is being established, which implies much tougher sanctions. If the fact is proven, then companies will be deprived of their licenses for seven years. We observe an abundance of disinformation, as a rule, during the pre-election period,” Vitsu said.

According to her, the situation in Ukraine is forcing Chisinau to take tough measures.

On June 2, the Moldovan Parliament adopted a law on the protection of the information space, which prohibits the rebroadcasting of news and analytical programs and military films from Russia. A similar ban aimed at combating "foreign propaganda" was already adopted in 2017, but in December 2020 it was cancelled at the initiative of the Socialist Party.
Now in Moldova, political or military news and broadcasts from countries that have not ratified the Convention on Transfrontier Television (including Russia) are prohibited by the decision of the Commission for Emergency Situations.

Attention. Translated from Ukrainian channel:

Our source reports that Western partners have decided to give us more new weapons for one important reason. They need to force the Russians to modernise their weaponry involved in the Ukrainian crisis.
Many have already noticed that the only new (not even the newest) specimens used by the Russians in the Ukrainian crisis are the armoured vehicles "Tiger”, assault armoured vehicles "Terminator” and T-90 tanks and of course, the "Kalibr" long-range missiles (these are the latest developments), but still the Russians have a huge amount of the latest weapons in their arsenal, which the Kremlin keeps and does not use in the Ukrainian crisis.
Many point out that the Russian Federation in the Ukrainian crisis is fighting 80% of junk, which they have long been decommissioned and gathering dust in warehouses for disposal. Old Soviet weapons.

The West needs to force the Kremlin to intensify the Ukrainian crisis with the latest weapons in order to provoke a shortage, thereby weakening the Russian Federation.

The British prime minister, Boris Johnson, echoed Stoltenberg’s comments. “I am afraid that we need to steel ourselves for a long war,” he said, adding that it was necessary “to enlist time on Ukraine’s side”.

It came as the new head of the British army said British troops must prepare “to fight in Europe once again”. “There is now a burning imperative to forge an army capable of fighting alongside our allies and defeating Russia in battle,” Gen Sir Patrick Sanders said, writing to his charges about the challenges they face.

The statements suggest the west believes Ukraine cannot achieve a rapid military breakthrough despite the anticipated arrival of fresh Nato-standard arms, while officials in the country have continued to call for rapid help.

Ukraine’s forces remain on the defensive in the eastern Donbas region, where fighting continues in Sievierodonestsk. Serhiy Haidai, the governor of the Luhansk region, said Russia was massing forces in an attempt to take full control of the city after weeks of fighting.

Yes, they care about Ukraine running out of arms and munition. However, they do not care about running out of Ukrainians...
Attention. Translated from Ukrainian channel:

Colleagues, unfortunately, the Office of the President is now driven into a classic zugzwang, when any decision carries risks for the authorities. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are constantly growing in the Severodonetsk loop, and the supply of weapons from the West is not able to turn the tide.
German military assistance to Ukraine remains paltry. Berlin reportedly failed to meaningfully supply Ukraine with any weapons in April and May and has yet to deliver a single heavy weapon since the start of the war. Although a few major systems are expected to reach Ukraine later this summer, the real prize—an advanced anti-aircraft system—won’t deploy until this fall, at which point German intelligence assesses Russia may have already completed its conquest of the Donbas. The scuttlebutt in Berlin is that this is intentional: Scholz does not want footage of German equipment engaging Russian forces to be published.
