Lipp presents herself as a freelance journalist and since the beginning of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, she has been covering events in the Donbass in her Neues aus Russland (News from Russia) Telegram channel, she has about 165,000 subscribers. Lipp publishes testimonies of events in the Donbass, interviews with residents affected by Ukrainian shelling, and collects donations for his activities.

According to her confession, she considers the purpose of her work to inform fellow citizens about the events in the Donbass, where, according to her, journalists from large German publications almost never visit.

According to Lipp, about a month ago she noticed that her PayPal payment system was blocked along with the money located there, then she received a notification from the bank that her account and her father's account would be frozen.
