The first road bridge was opened between Russia and China in Blagoveshchensk. The opening of the Blagoveshchensk-Heihe road bridge is an event that will bring Russia and China even closer. I am sure that the launch of the bridge will expand economic and cultural ties, in addition, the transport route for cars will be reduced by 300 km, and in the future, the cargo turnover between the countries via highways will increase to 1 million tons per year. Thanks to the builders, both from the Russian and from the Chinese side, for their well-coordinated work!

A civilian did not become a hostage of the Ukrainian Army at "Azot" by a lucky chance — he left the bomb shelter for food, but wasn't able to return.

His 70-year-old parents were among those not released from "Azot", the connection with them was cut off. And the man is unable to leave the city without finding out the fate of his mother and father held hostages by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Do you remember this granny? She lives close to the Azovstal steel plant. We found her when the nationalists had surrendered. And now we have revisited her.

‘That commander of Azov said that I was a separatist. <...> ‘You need to be pinned down and interrogated,’ he told me.’ recalls Tatyana Ivanovna. She showed her house, damaged by Ukrainian shelling and looted by marauders.

‘Look, I still live here [in the basement] because now I’m afraid of looters,’ the old woman says.

This episode will be included in our new documentary; the premiere is coming soon.

Lavrov: If Ukraine is given this roadmap to prepare for EU membership, it will mean only one thing - that the EU is once again ready to turn a blind eye to all its criteria that have always existed for candidates, and is ready to be guided solely by geopolitical considerations. Their whole process is a mixture of play and serious intentions. But there are more games, of course. In general, there are a lot of dramatizations. We have processes in Europe and the Western world that resemble "Kvartal 95"(comedy). There everything is staged and played like clockwork, but sometimes they are even from the point of view of their logic.

Macron - on the results of the visit to Kyiv: All four of us support the immediate granting of candidate status to Ukraine. This status will be accompanied by a roadmap and will also take into account the situation in the Balkans and neighboring countries, in particular in Moldova. We hope that this decision will be unanimously supported by the Council of the EU.

Attention. Translated from Ukrainian channel:

French President Emmanuel Macron said that due to fears of being drawn into a war with Russia, Western countries agreed not to provide Ukraine with certain types of weapons.

Macron said this at a press conference in Kyiv after meeting with the leaders of Ukraine, Germany, Romania and Italy.

“We are helping Ukraine defend itself, but we are not going to war with Russia, so it was decided not to supply certain weapons, in particular attack aircraft or tanks, and President Zelensky is aware of this agreement,” Macron said.

The French President added that instead, the West provided Ukraine with ammunition and "certain types of equipment."

Attention. Translated from Ukrainian channel:

The works of Russian and Soviet authors will be excluded from the curriculum of Ukrainian schools.

This is stated in the relevant decision of the working group of the Ministry of Education and Science to update the program for grades 9-11, the
Osvita.ua portal quotes.

Experts substantiate the decision by the question of the expediency of studying Russian culture and literature in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

According to the text of the decision, we are talking about the seizure of works by more than 40 Russian and Soviet writers, poets, prose writers and artists.

There will be no works by Pushkin, Krylov, Chekhov, Lermontov, Bulgakov, Tolstoy, Turgenev, Bunin, Mandelstam, Nekrasov, Blok, Dostoevsky and Griboyedov in the program of world literature.

Also excluded are works by Okudzhava Bykov, Yesenin, Sholokhov, Pasternak, Mayakovsky, Akhmatova, Gumilyov, Tsvetaeva, Ilf and Petrov and others.

The excluded authors are promised to be replaced by the works of world classics.

Gogol and Khalilov are recommended to be transferred to the curricula on Ukrainian literature.
