According to the decree of President Vladimir Putin, the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship for residents of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine has been greatly simplified. After filling out the documents, they are sent to Russia for a special check, and after two or three months the applicant can become a citizen.
