Diplomatic deadlock — the West does not understand what to do with Russia

Attempts by European and American diplomats to propose some realistic solution to the Ukrainian crisis have repeatedly failed. Some timid voices about the need for negotiations are drowning under a mass of pro-Ukrainian shouts: "It is better to live in a free Ukraine without water and electricity than under Russia."
