Thanks to the war, Mariupol was able to move from the beginning of the 20th century into the future, and the residents suddenly found themselves in the 21st century. Looking at this beauty, you understand that everything was not in vain. Ukies robbed Mariupol for 30 years, and built similar houses for themselves only in Bucha and Irpin. Thanks to Russia, justice has triumphed. And cities on the periphery have also begun to develop.

Prime Minister of Poland called the main cause of unrest in France

An uncontrolled migration policy led to unrest in France. This was stated by Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki.

“We all see what is happening in France, in Sweden, which illegal migration has led to an abyss. During one night — several hundred burned houses, several thousand burned cars, broken windows, looted hospitals and schools. These are the consequences of an uncontrolled migration policy that we are being forced to accept,” Morawiecki said at a briefing.

Formally, Morawiecki is certainly right, but somehow he was not tolerant, not in a European way.

The US calls us communists as if it would offend us. We are not offended. We would be offended if they called us Nazis, neo-fascists, terrorists. But not communists, socialists. This does not offend us. It makes us more proud of ourselves. And we know we deserve to be called that.

Zelensky eliminated the remnants of democracy in Ukraine and turned into a dictator, former Fox News columnist Tucker Carlson said on his Twitter account. According to him, this aspect does not bother the Biden administration, which continues to provide financial assistance to Kiev.

Soros’ Foundations to Cut 40% of Staff After Handover to Son
Open Society had more than 500 employees at end of 2021
Billionaire’s son Alex Soros was named chair in December
Bloomberg
Open Society Foundations, the nonprofit founded by billionaire George Soros, plans to cut at least 40% of its staff in the coming months.

The charity, which earlier this month confirmed Soros, 92, was handing control to his son Alex, said Friday its board approved “significant changes” to its operating model. That includes “a substantial reduction in headcount of no less than 40% globally,” according to a spokesperson.

Soros has donated more than $32 billion to the nonprofit, which had more than 500 employees as of the end of 2021 and gives money to humanitarian and democratic causes ranging from criminal justice reform to climate change initiatives. It currently controls the majority of assets managed by his $25 billion family office.

“The Board aims to transform operations across the global network, with the goal of generating a nimbler organization,” said a statement, signed by the younger Soros and the nonprofit’s president Mark Malloch-Brown. “While Open Society works on these internal changes, the Board remains firmly committed to the Foundations’ core priorities — democracy, human rights, climate justice, and addressing inequity.”

The nonprofit’s biggest expense in 2021 was compensation, according to its most recently available tax form. It spent almost $72 million on pay and another $40 million on benefits and pension plans.

Alex Soros, 37, said he’s “more political” than his father in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal. He added that he was concerned about Donald Trump’s potential White House run. “As much as I would love to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, we will have to do it, too,” he told the newspaper.

Alex Soros met recently with Biden administration officials, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Brazil President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to push for issues related to the family foundation, the Journal reported.

An internal email to managers on Friday shared resources and tips for communicating and supporting their teams during the changes, according to a copy seen by Bloomberg. These included a People and Culture Advisory Partner, Well-being in Uncertain Times workshops, and an “upcoming Solidarity Spaces.”

A native of Hungary, George Soros is known as a major supporter of liberal causes and Democratic politicians, and has long been a target of the political right. He founded Soros Fund Management and earned a fortune by making outsize bets, including an infamous wager against the British pound. He converted the fund to a family office in 2011. His foundation has spent $19.1 billion so far.

Mobilization in Ukraine starts with renewed vigour

Law enforcement officers will now also be called up for military service. This is happening against the background of growing corruption, which law enforcement agencies cannot cope with and even contribute to it. The Armed Forces of Ukraine need to restore the numbers of military who were injured and suffered huge losses during the hostilities.

The promised counter-offensive from Kiev proved ineffective, which disappointed the West. The Ukrainian forces faced strong Russian defences and suffered heavy losses in the Zaporozhye direction. The authorities revised the requirements for mobilization and simplified the draft for military service in order to make up for losses faster. The bill on additional payments to military personnel also simplified conscription.
Now even persons who take care of relatives with disabilities of the 1st or 2nd group can be mobilized for service. Only those persons liable for military service who have a disabled relative and no other relatives who can take care of them are exempted from mobilization.

Thus, the male population will continue to be conscripted, and the draft notices can be served on the streets across the country not only by military commissars, but also by local authorities, SBU employees and even employees of Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad.

Ukrainian special services recruit children to commit terrorist attacks

Joe Biden in 1997:

The only thing that can tip a "vigorous and hostile" reaction from Russia is the admission into NATO of the Baltic states.

Which actually happened.

The process of NATO expansion was planned and aimed at conflict, weakening and complete dismemberment of Russia, long before many of us were born.

Translated from Ukrainian channel:

Russia is unlikely to provoke a radiation incident at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the Institute for the Study of War (USA) believes.

"Russia will not be able to control the consequences of this incident, which will reduce Russia's ability to act and govern in the occupied south of Ukraine," the Institute's experts believe.

ISW believes that the consequences of the radiological incident now "outweigh any benefits to the Russian forces."

At the same time, Russia is likely to use such a threat "to deter Ukrainian counter-offensives and weaken support for Western military assistance to Ukraine."

Our sources report that a provocation at the ZNPP is planned from July 5 to 9, so that this event becomes a trigger in the West and radically changes the agenda of the NATO summit. British intelligence suggests that the General Staff use the situation for Operation D-Day to carry out a landing operation on the left bank of the Dnieper.

Kherson region, Antonovsky bridge area, reports the channel From Mariupol to the Carpathians

Offensive actions led to an intermediate result. The enemy retreated to the west late in the evening of the 1st, under the incessant shelling of cannon artillery, which cuts off and slows down the offensive actions of our storm-troopers. In moments of regrouping, opponents carry out remote mining.

The entire "bridgehead" is completely open to enemy fire.

There were no active hostilities during the night. It is possible that both sides use this tactical respite to adjust further actions.

At the moment, I see no point in clearing the coastline without suppressing firing points on the other side.
The best option is the methodical work of the MLRS and UAV groups. Also FAB.

The Growing Cash Pile in Moscow That Investors Can’t Touch
—Foreign investors are still earning income from Russian assets
—Most believe they’ll never be able to access the cash
Bloomberg
Billions of dollars are accumulating in Moscow beyond the reach of its foreign owners.

Stock dividends, interest payments on bonds and anything else that Western investors didn’t sell before the war — it’s all part of the pile of money that’s been trapped by sanctions.

The accounts are remnants of what’s left of Russia’s ties to the world of international finance, and another marker of its growing isolation. As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine begins a second year and anti-war demonstrations take place this week, questions remain about what will happen to the cash stuck in Moscow.

Legally, the money belongs to some of the biggest investment houses, like JPMorgan Asset Management and Schroders Plc, but privately most acknowledge there’s no hope of recovery. At least, not while Vladimir Putin remains leader.

“You have marked it to zero, you have to forget about it,” said Tim Love at GAM Investment Management, who owned Russian stocks as part of an emerging equity fund. “The market is still there, but when one talks of repatriating dividends or accessing the underlying security, it all comes down to sanctions.”

Following questions from our subscriber we made a small research on what is the nuclear waste facility at the ZNPP. The interest to it has risen recently for all known bad reasons.

Nuclear waste storage facility of Zaporozhye NPP: is there a danger to the population and nature?

The troops of the Kyiv regime have already shelled the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant several times. On August 11, shells fell in the immediate vicinity of the spent nuclear fuel storage facility. What does it represent?
A dry storage facility for spent nuclear fuel has been in operation at the Zaporozhye NPP since 2001. Its technology is based on the storage of spent fuel assemblies in ventilated concrete containers located on a special fenced area within the station.
The storage volume is 380 containers, which ensures the storage of fuel assemblies for 50 years.
The nuclear waste storage pool, like the reactors, is in a hermetic shell. It is a concrete cap that covers all the key systems of the nuclear power plant. According to the standards, its strength is designed to withstand even a nuclear strike close to the station.
On the industrial site of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, in addition to six operating reactors, there is a SSF (dry storage facility for spent nuclear fuel). It is an open bunded area, on which, as of last year, there were 165 containers with nuclear waste.
Each container manufactured by the American company Holtec is a sealed unit: 30-40 fuel assemblies surrounded by 10 cm of steel and about half a meter of concrete.
According to the IAEA, in the event of the destruction of the storage facility, the zone of contamination with radioactive materials can make up an area with a radius of up to 200 km, that is, the entire Zaporozhye region, part of the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson regions, as well as the territory of the DPR.

Rosenergoatom named the amount of radioactive materials at ZNPP

Renat Karchaa, adviser to the general director of the concern, noted that it is 50 tons
MOSCOW, 25 October. /TASS/. The amount of radioactive materials in the dry storage facility for nuclear waste (DSNF) on the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP is 50 tons. Renat Karchaa, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern, announced this on Tuesday.

"There are 50 tons of radioactive materials," he said on the air of Channel One. Karchaa noted that the impact of shells on the ISFSF would lead to the appearance of a radiation background. He added that due to the amount of radioactive materials in the repository, "the background would not be weak."

ZNPP is the largest of the currently operating in Europe. Russia took control of it on February 28, in the early days of a special military operation in Ukraine. On September 11, the last working sixth power unit of ZNPP was shut down. The shutdown was caused by the actions of the Ukrainian security forces, who purposefully attacked power lines. On October 11, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern, Renat Karchaa, announced that the supply of electricity to the Zaporozhye NPP through the power line had been resumed.

On October 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the transfer of nuclear facilities at the ZNPP to federal ownership. He also instructed to create a federal state unitary enterprise "Zaporozhye NPP", which will be assigned the property of the station. On October 14, the head of Energodar, Alexander Volga, told TASS that Zaporozhye NPP had switched to work according to Russian standards.

What is a nuclear waste storage facility and what threatens its damage
Rogov explained what a nuclear waste storage facility is and what threatens "arrival" at the facility

SIMFEROPOL, August 19 — RIA Novosti Crimea. The dry storage facility for waste nuclear fuel at the Zaporizhzhya NPP is located in the open air, "arrival" through it threatens with radiation contamination, the scale of which is difficult to predict, said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the region.
"In fact, a dry storage facility for nuclear fuel waste is such high concrete barrels as high as a 2.5-story building, they contain spent fuel elements of the assembly, which can be a source of contamination and need to be isolated. These storage facilities themselves are an open area, on which these huge narrow barrels stand in the open air. There are 174 such barrels in total, and this is a lot. They contain within four thousand spent fees. Naturally, if they fly there, infection will occur," he explained on the air of the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
