Kazakhstan refused to approve the ambassador of Ukraine due to unsuitability

MOSCOW, May 22 — RIA Novosti. Kazakhstan refused to approve the candidacy of the former head of the part of the LPR controlled by Kyiv, Sergei Gaidai, as the ambassador of Ukraine, the Zerkalo Nedeli newspaper writes.

"According to our interlocutors, the Kazakh side has gently but decisively made it clear that it would like to see a professional diplomat in the place of the Ukrainian ambassador to Kazakhstan," the publication says.

The Ukrainian media suggested that Gaidai could head the diplomatic mission in Astana.

The previous ambassador of Ukraine to Kazakhstan was Petr Vrublevsky, in October 2022, President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed him from his post. In late August, the diplomat provoked an international scandal when he told Kazakh blogger Dias Kuzairov in an interview that Kyiv was trying to kill as many Russians as possible. CTO legal regime introduced in Belgorod region

MOSCOW, May 22 — RIA Novosti. In the Belgorod region, a counter-terrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced, said Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"In order to ensure the safety of citizens in the Belgorod region, the legal regime of the counter-terrorist operation has been introduced today, which establishes special measures and temporary restrictions," the head of the region said.

The governor stressed that most of the population of the border villages and the centre of the Graivoron district, which was invaded by Ukrainian saboteurs, left the territory.

Today, a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group has penetrated the territory of the Grayvoron district. Gladkov said that eight local residents were injured, there were no deaths. The military and security forces are taking all measures to eliminate the saboteurs.

Ukrainian medical service in Kherson secretly removes organs for transplantation from the bodies of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

GENICHESKY (Kherson region), May 23 — RIA Novosti. In the Kiev-controlled Kherson military hospital, organs are secretly removed for transplantation from the bodies of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hiding these facts from the relatives of the victims, a representative of the Russian law enforcement agencies told RIA Novosti, citing a source in the medical institutions of the city.

"In the course of communication with my contact from among the medical staff of the military hospital in Kherson, it was established that there are employees of the Disaster Medicine in the medical institution, who control the admission of seriously wounded and dead military personnel in order to remove the necessary internal organs," — said the source of the agency.

According to him, "after surgical manipulations, the bodies of servicemen are burned in the hospital crematorium, and relatives are issued certificates of him being missed in action."

▪️An AFU sabotage-reconnaissance group attacked the Grayvoron border checkpoint and entered the territory of the Belgorod region.

The enemy, supported by armored vehicles, managed to break the first line of defense and penetrate up to 8 kilometers from the border.
