CHDBits News - Assessment Announcement
This tracker will start "2020 mid-term assessment" from July 3, 2020 to August 4, 2020.
Assessment rules:
1. Target: Members whose registration date exceeds 2 months;
2. Evaluation method: adopt the incremental evaluation system, the incremental indicators are:
1) Upload amount: upload 200 Gb;
2) Download amount: download 100 Gb (subject to the system calculation of personal data);
3) Increment of bonus points: getting 20,000 bonus points (the basic value of B value is obtained by seeding, excluding the double bonus points for donors)
Note: The above three goals must be reached till 0 o'clock on August 4, 2020 to pass the exam!
3. Exemptions from the assessment:
1) Donors marked with a yellow star;
2) VIPs and above;
3) Insane users and above with 600,000 bonus points. The two conditions must be met.
Incremental examples:
At 0 o'clock on July 3, a member's data is as follows: upload volume - 100 Gb, download volume - 100 Gb, and bonus points - 2000.
At 0 o'clock on August 4, 2020, the member must meet the following data to pass the exam: upload amount ≥300G, download amount ≥200G, and bonus points ≥22000.
3. Explanation of the unsuccessful assessment
Members who failed to pass the assessment will have a negative bonus points score of 200,000. When the seeding score is negative, they will not be able to continue to download torrents. You can upload new torrents and save seeds by preserving the old ones.
To obtain the seeding points until the points are positive to restore the download rights. The assessment failed to pass the membership, and the donation method was used to return to the right to restore the authority, but the original score before the assessment was not restored!,
4. Matters needing attention:
1) Whether it is in the assessment range depends on whether the "assessment progress bar" is displayed. If it is in the assessment range, the "assessment progress reminder" will be displayed at the top of each page of the website.
2) The parked members who meet the requirements of the assessment must also accept the assessment. Please remove their paked status in time before the assessment and find a way to participate in the assessment.
3) The three indicators for this assessment are all incremental, which is equal to the amount of data at the end of the assessment minus the amount of data at the beginning of the assessment, and all three indicators must pass the assessment at 0:00 on August 04, 2020.

Orpheus News - A Momentary Lapse of Reason
At 13:35 UTC the backend dropped off the net without warning. For a while, traceroutes were going nowhere.
While I was trying to contact the host, connectivity was restored and the backend went back to work at about 15:18 UTC. This opportunity afforded the chance to review that the database backups are all in order. And they are: an encrypted backup from yesterday is sitting on a remote server, so if the worst came to the worst there would have been less than a day's lossage.
In the meantime, I would like to point out that we are still having trouble with email. The server was supposed to be rebuilt, but hey, it will be done when it's done.
With that in mind, if you invite someone, send them the invite link so that they can create their account. If they don't receive the confirmation email, tell them to be patient and they will be able to log into the site within 24 hours.
Stay tuned, we have a summer announcement coming up. I had hoped to time it for the mid-year solstice, but, again, it will be done when it's done.

Asiandvdclub2.org News
Fellow members this is a rather urgent matter. We need $1600 to pay for AsianDVDClub.org domain name recently won on the auction. Everybody who reads this message try to find at least $20 or if your finances permit $100 for this cause. Having this domain name will let us become true inheritors of the original ADC from now on into the future. Please do not think somebody else will pay, it has to be you or there will be no AsianDVDClub. My personal commitment is $500, I am certain that you can allocate some money as well. Please see the forum topic for details. If the domain is unpaid by August 21, 2020, it will go back to the registrar....................................................................Collected $582.73 to date
