TheVault News - TV Experts Summit 2020 Coming Soon
Come to the 2020 TV Experts Summit on IRC
Dear Vaulters,
The world has gone to shit.
Every store that's not a supermarket, grocery or pharmacy is closed.
People are out of work & freaking out because they haven't received a paycheck in weeks.
3% of restaurants in the U.S. have closed permanently never to open again. 43% of small businesses said they can't survive 6 months. Amazon cut affiliate commissions by 62.5% last week. Oil prices just crashed into the NEGATIVE dollars a few days ago.
We don't have to tell how bad shit is right now.
You know it's bad.
That's why a lot more people are trying to join TV right now.
So If You're Stuck At Home and Don't Know What the
Hell to Do, We've Got A Solution For You
The TV Experts Summit 2020.
That means that in the coming weeks (exact date & time coming soon), over 10 of TV's most knowledgeable members will share their all their business expertise in IRC panel discussions on topics including. . .
• buying and selling businesses
• copywriting
• how to climb the corporate ladder using material from TV
• how to run a marketing department
• presenting your sales pitch via zoom
• changes to consumer behavior during the lockdown
• remote sales & setting appointments over the phone
• consulting
• crowdsourcing
• how to get started in internet marketing
And much more.
Plus the best part is...
You'll Be Able to Interact With Them Live
& Ask Them Any Questions You Want!
The exact roster of names & topics will be announced in the coming weeks along with the official date of the summit.
For now, we want to know how many people are interested in this event & what other topics you'd like to see discussed.
Whether it be advice on how to protect your physical business from collapse...
How to get started making money online if you have no product...
How to move your current business operations online...
What markets to get into right now and which to avoid...
Or something else. Let us know.
We're also looking for more speakers so if you're interested, let us know in the Forum post in the link below & we'll reach out to you via PM.
More info coming soon...

AwesomeHD News - Guess who's back, back again!
Yes if you can see this you have probably already realized that AHD is back. So where have we been? Well, first we got on a plane and flew off to the beach for a day or 2. Nah we are just fooling around with you.
You more than likely have noticed the same problems around speed that we had noticed over the last few months, well we decided it was time to do something about it. So we took the opportunity of being at home in lockdown to pull our infrastructure apart and start to put it back together in a way that should allow for a more responsive user experience for you.
There is still some more work that needs to be put in to make sure everything is back to normal and running smoothly but we wanted to get the site back in your hands as soon as we can. There will be some more downtime to come but it will definitely not be for as long this time.
Thank you for sticking with us during this.

32P is down for site maintenance #privateTR
Site maintenance
We are currentely down, please forgive us for the inconvenience.
This downtime is due to a HDD failure (again ...)
The faulty hardware got replaced, now we are reinstalling on a new OS.
Don't worry, we have good backups made just a few hours before the crash. Data loss will be minimal (a few hours worth)
ETA : Probably mid Week 20 (2020-05-11 / 2020-05-18)

Revolutiontt News - enable accounts for cash
Apr-07-20 -
Hello active users
This is an informational post that we hope none of you will ever need to worry about.
Over the past few years we've had disabled users come into our IRC #help channel looking to get enabled. They've been disabled for a variety of reasons but for the most part it's simply inactivity as real life has gotten in the way.
Some of these users have had very high use before being disabled, some very mediocre. Some have even been unused. For the most part, we enable without qualm or question (apart from why they let the account lapse) but we've had several be enabled up to three times beforehand and they still go on and let their account lapse. They then wander back in, sometimes after a few years gone, ask for an enable and get quite narked when we decline as we don't believe they'll be active users (based on their previous record).
We've put our heads together to try to find a solution to this issue. We have decided that we could enable a previously (multiple) enabled user upon a donation of $17. This donation could be used for up to 60GB of upload credit or a month's ratio freeze. This would be a show of faith to us that the user values the account as well as an incentive for said user to actually use the account. No tracker wants idle users. We see it as both sides winning, user gets credit to get back in the game, we get to keep the lights on. It should also be noted that this is entirely voluntary.
Please note: This does not apply for users that have a grandfathered account from one of our banned countries. Your account is fine but should you go inactive, for whatever reason, there will not be the opportunity offered of being enabled.

GazelleGames News - Site Improvements & Hiring
Hello GGn community!
Site Improvements
As part of our ongoing effort of improving the stability of the site, our developers have been hard at work on optimizations and upgrades for various systems. While a lot of these changes have been behind the scenes, we'd like to use this announcement to highlight some of the changes that are more visible to everyone. Of course, this effort isn't finished, and we'll keep working on further improving site systems.
Hit 'n' Runs
After some improvements to the Hit 'n' Run scheduler, we've been able to finally turn it back on. This means that Hit 'n' Run status and ShareScore seeding time should now again be displayed correctly. We haven't stopped there, however, and made two fundamental changes to Hit 'n' Runs:
First, we've removed ratio as a way of clearing a Hit 'n' Run. Previously, a ratio of 0.8 used to prevent a torrent from becoming a Hit 'n' Run. This change was already announced several years ago and the Ratio rules adjusted accordingly but the code wasn't actually changed with that announcement. This remnant of the old system has now been removed; all torrents will need to be seeded for at least 80 hours in order to clear their Hit 'n' Run status.
Second, Hit 'n' Runs will no longer apply to users that have reached Elite Gamer or any higher user class. They will not receive any Hit 'n' Runs nor be subject to Hit 'n' Run Watch.
ShareScore
We've also fixed a minor issue with ShareScore, where the Snatched/Seeding statistic actually took all torrents into account — even deleted ones. This has been changed to only consider torrents that still exist on the site, which should lead to an overall increase in ShareScore.
Reviews
We implemented a new reviews page for both groups and users. If you've ever added any reviews, you can check the new page out here or alternatively view them directly on a game group. We have also significantly increased the maximum character limit of reviews to around 10,000 characters. In addition, reviews can now make full use of bbcode and come with a fancy new editor. If you ever wanted to have a graphic novel as your review, now's your chance! On the group page, reviews will still be limited to a reasonable length with a 'Read more' button to display it in its entirety. Most bbcode will also be stripped from the game page itself to ensure the new feature isn't distracting when browsing a group.
Freeleech Pots & Better.php
There's two more minor additions that have been made: Freeleech pots now increase in price whenever they are filled and decay linearly to their base price over the next 100 days. We hope this will serve as an encouragement for a more diverse range of groups put on freeleech. An image showcasing the price increase effect can be found here. Further, we've added a better page that displays a list of common issues with torrents and groups. This feature should help in improving the overall quality of the site, as well as showing opportunities to help build ratio.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our DEVs who continuously put in a lot of hard work to make these and other improvements come to life.
Hiring
Torrent Moderators
But developing new features and breaking existing ones isn't all that it takes to run the site! We also rely on staff members in a variety of positions to moderate the site. In that regard, we are currently looking for people that would be interested in a TM position for:
PS3/PS4
Retro (DOS, Atari, etc.) games
OSTs
E-Books
Tabletop games
If you are interested and believe you'd make a good candidate, please consider sending in your application. For more information on what is required and how to apply, please visit the latest TM Hiring thread.
Community Moderators

HDBits News - Modified torrent clients not allowed
We would like to remind everyone that using a modified client is not allowed on HDBits and will result in an immediate ban as cheater. This includes but is not limited to modifications that skew the ratio in your favour by artificially limiting the spread of pieces to the swarm from an initial seed.
