For Valentine's Day they made a cool event. Here is a guide on how to get a heart shaped galaxy:

1. Open the compass and look for the heart shaped galaxy
2. If the heart beats, you can buy it. But we don't need this galaxy, so keep looking for it
3. Find a heart that doesn't beat. We need to run it
4. Start the heart by tapping the rhythm of heartbeat ❤️
5. Repeat several times until the scale at the bottom fills up.
6. When the scale is filled — click on it. The text “heart started” will appear.
7. It is necessary to start ten hearts in this way. You can check how many you have started in your profile.
8. When 10 hearts are started — go to your profile and click “Create a heart”
9. A link to the galaxy will be created. You can give it as a gift, or you can send it to yourself and follow the link
10. Click “Create Galaxy”
11. Now you have a little galaxy in the shape of a heart.

The event looks cool to me. Kind of tap mechanics, but it was given an interesting shape.

The latest update introduced another subscription option alongside the Trophy Road. So, I crunched the numbers to see if it's worth it.

The price is 260 sapphires (~$20), but right now, you can grab it for just 65 (~$5). But what exactly you will get?

Essentially, it's a subscription that lets you earn extra $ZAR tokens from daily quests and Trophy Quests (not to be confused with the Trophy Road). Trophy Quests also reward you with an artifact. Without Premium Pass, you get a common one. With the pass, you also get an epic and a legendary artifact.

Right now, if I calculate the total value of the artifacts and tokens I can earn by completing all Trophy Quests, it comes out to around ~$53. I based this on the assumption that I bought sapphires, then used them to purchase artifacts and $ZAR at current market prices.
If I were to sell these artifacts instead (again, at today's prices, though there's no real market data yet since no one has sold anything), I'd get around $34 after all fees.

Of course, the decision is yours. I’m just sharing my experience and thoughts. I got the Premium Pass at the current price it seems worthy to me. But for 260 sapphires? Honestly, I'm not so sure. I’ll keep the artifacts, not selling anything, and my $ZAR is going straight into bank shares.

Nothing stops them from creating a web version for non-mobile projects as well. Roman also mentioned plans to expand into the Asian market: Japan and Korea. That’s great news too, as the average spending in gaming is higher there and players tend to invest more in games. We’ll keep watching.

And definitely what you shouldn't do based on TapSwap's release is to draw conclusions about the whole TMA market. I understand that some of you may think it's dead. And I understand the reasons for that.

I absolutely agree that there is a wave of fud going on right now. Sasha Notcoin made a PR failure of such proportions that he severely screwed the whole ecosystem of the entire TON, burying the ecosystem of Notcoin in the process. But Sashas come and go, and the market remains. So we will still be looking for good projects for you. Fud comes and goes, but the market transforms.

There are significant changes in the tokenomics, and from my perspective, they’re positive, even though the user reward pool has decreased. Let me explain why I think this way.

The old tokenomics were, to put it mildly, a bit strange. Usually, you’ll see marketing or something similar in any tokenomics model, but there was nothing like that here. The new tokenomics resemble a more traditional crypto project model, and they look more mature and balanced in terms of long-term sustainability. An important point: ZarGates is a project with utility. It's an economic strategy that aggregates activities from other games. Yes, at TGE you’ll only be able to sell 30%, and for some, that might be a downside. However, this decision aligns with the rest of the tokenomics and the project’s overall design.

TMA has conditioned us to expect quick airdrops followed by projects dying off, but ZarGates is not about the quick airdrop. If the project does well, early users (like us) will have the opportunity to earn not only through gameplay but also by providing services and selling goods to other users.

They’ve also released a new roadmap and whitepaper, and I’ll write about them later. But for now, let me know what you think about the new tokenomics 🍷
