Bitget adds eight new CFDs on metals, energy and indices

Bitget has added CFDs on aluminium, zinc, lead and Low Sulphur Gasoil, plus the Hang Seng TECH, Taiwan RIC, Netherlands 25 and Switzerland 20 indices, per its release of 23 Oct 2026. Leverage is up to 20x on the metals and gasoil and up to 50x on the indices; higher leverage increases the risk of losses. Long and short positions are available in all four CFD account modes.

Availability depends on the client's country, as the release does not list regions.

OANDA Japan confirms unauthorised trades on some accounts

OANDA Japan says a third party logged in to some client accounts and placed unauthorised trades, using logins that may have leaked from GMO's Onamae Desktop Cloud VPS. It has restricted trading on accounts that may be affected and is contacting those clients. OANDA says it found no breach of its own core systems.

GMO has announced a policy to compensate realised losses from confirmed unauthorised trades; claims go to GMO directly. OANDA asks all clients to change My Page and MT4/MT5 passwords, set up 2FA and a passkey, and check their trading history.

Plus500 becomes first US FCM to offer Kalshi perps

Plus500 has launched Kalshi perpetual futures through its US Futures Commission Merchant, per its RNS of 28 Oct 2026. The company says it is the first FCM, excluding Kalshi Prime, to offer perps on Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated US exchange.

Perps have no expiry date. Kalshi launched the first CFTC-regulated US perps in May 2026 and now lists contracts on crypto, commodities and indices. Plus500 clears them itself as a clearing member of Kalshi Klear and offers them through its B2B and B2B2C partners.

This is a US futures product, separate from Plus500's CFDs elsewhere.
