WHY ??
Prolonged suffering, in spiritual terms, is not punishment -it is pressure.
Pressure is what transforms.
What people call “ascension” is really the dismantling of everything false so that only what is real can remain.
That process is not gentle, because illusion does not dissolve politely - it resists.
Suffering stretches you beyond the identity you were conditioned to believe you are.
It exposes attachments, false beliefs, and unconscious patterns that comfort kept hidden. Without that exposure, there is no true awakening - only spiritual fantasy.
When the pressure is sustained, something deeper happens:
you stop negotiating with truth.
At first, suffering feels like something happening to you.
Eventually, it reveals what is happening THROUGH you.
It burns out dependency on external validation, control, and certainty.
It forces you inward - past the ego, past fear - into a place that cannot be shaken.
That place is your actual foundation.
Without prolonged tension, most people revert back to old patterns the moment relief comes. The duration is what seals the transformation. It rewires your perception so you don’t just understand truth - you embody it.
