TIL...Alexander the Great likely used linen armor called Linothorax, not bronze. The armor, made of many layers of linen glued together, is stronger, lighter and cooler than bronze and could have contributed to Alexander's success.

TIL that 7 Up launched a variation called "dnL" (the 7up logo turned upside down) and was basically the opposite of 7 Up: instead of a caffiene-free clear soda in a green bottle, it was a caffienated green soda in a clear bottle, and instead of lemon-lime the flavor was lime-lemon.

TIL not only there was a 'Rat Pack' and a 'Brat Pack' but there was also a 'Black Pack' that was founded by Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall and featured Robert Townsend, Arsenio Hall, Paul Mooney and Keenen Ivory Wayans. The only white member was Pee-Wee Herman.
