โDirect report from Iran
Iโm sharing the following testimony that was sent directly from inside Iran, with the request that it be passed on so others become aware of what is happening.
According to the message, a relativeโs husband took part in the protests in Mohammadshahr, Karaj, on the 9th of January. Security forces reportedly chased him and opened fire on his car with automatic weapons. He survived the shooting but was later arrested at his home. He is currently being held in Kachouii Prison in Karaj.
His family was able to speak with him yesterday. He said detainees were presented with pre-written confession letters and ordered to sign them.
Around 30 detainees refused. They were allegedly lined up against a wall, restrained, and Fired a barrage of bullets. The message further claims that the fingers of those who refused to sign were cut off.
This account was shared with the hope that it would reach a wider audience and shed light on the situation.
