هر روز میام مثل سگ گرسنه‌ای که شیش ماهه غذا نخورده نگاهش میکنم و ته دلداریم به خودم اینه که "حداقل دست تیامه".

but everything going on with ai is kinda reminding me of the whole "paper cups and straws" thing while entire factories pollute the environment anyway.

like even if everyone on the planet started using paper straws it would be immediately undone by like an hour of pollution being released from a single factory.

and it kinda seems the same to me with ai. every big corporation is using it. it's everywhere. and i feel like it makes little to no difference that us normal people are trying to boycott it.

cause even if you don't use it and you educate like 10 other people about it and they educate more people, it still can't compete with the damage that the big corporations are inflicting on the environment.

or like an animation artist might do the whole animating process themselves but they'll still use ai for the storyboards and concept arts and whatnot. or for the soundtracks and dialogues.

and to be clear i'm not defending the usage of ai or whatever but at the same time i'm like do whatever ig? it has already gotten out of hand. it's not like if i attack my friend for using it, the environment will suddenly heal and the rich evil men in power will shut down all the data centers.
