🇬🇧👑 The British Empire was undoubtedly one of the most evil genocidal institutions to ever exist.
There is so much historical amnesia, about what the Empire really entailed... The fact that you don't teach colonial history in your schools, is because there is no real awareness of the atrocities... the fact that the British had financed their industrial revolution and prosperity by the depreciation of the Empire.
A reminder of the 5 greatest atrocities committed in the 20th century alone:
5 - Jallianwala Bagh Massacre - India 1919.. Up to 1000 peaceful protestors were massacred by British colonial troops.!
4 - Suppression of the Iraqi uprising in 1920
3 - The British partition of India in 1947, up to a million Indians and Pakistanis, will be killed in the ensuing violence after the uprising.
2 - The Mau Mau uprising in Kenya in 1950..
1 - Famines in India under British rule..Up to 29 million Indians starved to death under British rule, while Britain exported and stored food from that country.
Former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill once said: I hate Indians; They are people with a beastly religion..The famine was their fault because they reproduce like rabbits..
Incidentally, the UK has just put Winston Churchill on our £5..!!!
