Most people believe their UK taxes go towards hospitals, lighting, bin collection, pensions and a plethora of other public services. In fact ALL TAXES (Including fines) go to a parliamentary Consolidated Fund of which 5-10% finances illegal wars via the MOD. These foreign wars have cost the UK taxpayer £1.2TN since 2001 and killed 1.8M people (6M since WWII).
Tax 'rebellion' has been the single most important principle underlying all responsible rebellions in history. Magna Carta started with a tax rebellion, the English Civil War, American War of Independence, French & Russian Revolutions, Gandhi's Salt Tax Rebellion, the Glasgow Women's Rent Strike in 1915 and the Poll Tax.

The record-breaking daily costs peaked above £60m on Wednesday 24 November 2021, driving up the ESO’s overall balancing costs, which are ultimately paid for by consumers, to £3.1bn that financial year.
