If in a small family, even without children, its members have good feelings for each other, peace will reign in it. However, if someone is filled with anger, then immediately the atmosphere in the house will become tense. Then, in spite of good food and pleasant TV programs, you will lose peace and quiet. Thus, everything depends more on mind than on matter. Material things are important, we must have them, use them well, but in this age we need to combine real brain, intelligence with a good heart.

No one can go back to the way things were. No thing appears the same way twice. Everything exists only once - in this moment - and therefore there is no other way for us but to go straight. The true path leads endlessly forward.

You are always looking at the same reality through different states of consciousness.

The ego looks for those to blame, notices mistakes and convinces you that life is happening to you.

The Higher Self looks deeper: accepts responsibility, sees the lesson even in difficulties and notices what to be grateful for.

Reality in many ways begins not with what is happening around you, but with from what state you look at it.

When your view changes, your life gradually changes.
Appreciate every minute of life.

We so easily get used to simply consuming: looking, scrolling, buying, passing by. But life becomes truly fulfilling when you begin not only to take, but also to give.

Help someone who is having a hard time right now. Support with a kind word. Do something good without expecting gratitude. Stop for a moment and feel grateful for what you already have.

Perhaps this is where the path to true happiness lies.
If you are unhappy, you need to realize that your unhappiness is the result of your previous actions, so reflect on the causes and effects and make controlling the mind the most important part of the practice.

You must remain as you are, such as you have never been before, such as you will never be again. You are unique.

And if you start following anyone, you will miss the great opportunity that existence has provided for you; you will never be happy.

If you follow someone, you betray existence because you betray your own innermost being. You are betraying your bloom.

Relationships do not cause pain and unhappiness. They bring out the pain and unhappiness that you already have.

Our actions become positive or negative depending on our intentions - this is how the crystal takes on the color of the background on which it lies.

Anyone who considers himself a good person is not really such a person. Anyone who considers himself a bad person is not such a bad person. Therefore, it is nothing more than proof of a clear mind when you see your illusions as illusions. Besides this, there are no illusions to destroy, and no truth to strive for.

Psychosomatics of grievances

If you are constantly offended, the result may be constant stress and depression. Any negative tends to accumulate and then result in health problems.

Our entire load of unprocessed grievances does not go away. It “settles” in the body.

What chronic diseases cause accumulated grievances:

- Unexpressed resentment: “There is a lump in the throat”, “Across the throat”, “A bone in the throat” - sore throat and laryngitis.

— Reluctance to face the truth: “My eyes wouldn’t see you,” “It hurts to look” — deterioration of vision.

- Manipulative resentment: “The heart is breaking”, “Like a knife to the heart” - disruptions in the functioning of the cardiovascular system.

But there is an antidote to resentment - the practice of forgiveness. How to let go of a grudge?

Determine who you are exactly offended by - yourself or others. Remember what and when could cause negativity in you, which you still have not experienced. Having realized, firmly decide to forgive the
offender, even despite all the pain. You can’t return the past, and you definitely won’t need pain in the future. Thoughts of grievances will return, do not give in to them. Repeat: “I have forgiven all this. I no longer have any complaints, I don’t take offense, I don’t want revenge.”

You can write a letter to the offender, express everything that you would like to, but could not. And then burn it and let go of the grudge. Work through every negative feeling this way.
The result is not the goal; Only our effort to make ourselves better has value. This path has no end.

What is patience?

Practicing patience does not mean enduring suffering with clenched teeth like a hot sauna. This is not apathy or timidity when you are beaten, but you endure it because you are a coward. If you endure and then explode, this is also not patience.

Patience is when you do not allow your mind to be disturbed no matter what bad external condition you encounter. Only those who have wisdom can do this.

A wise person will not worry under any circumstances. If you worry, it means you don't have patience.

Patience makes your mind strong.

End the anger

When you experience bad emotions, they take over you. Until you see this, you leave them room for further growth. But once you realize that you acted basely and disgustingly, did something unusual for you, everything can change. You will be able to come to the conclusion that it was not you who behaved this way, but your negative emotions that pushed you. Ask yourself: “Is this my normal behavior or is there something wrong with me? But if I behave unnaturally, why do I do this? Because I’m angry, hurt and want to cause trouble for the other person.” Therefore, the reason for your action is not you, but your anger, and it is necessary to get out of this situation. If you are convinced that it is all about anger, you must make a decision. Your duty to yourself is not to submit to the power of any bad emotions. Tell yourself: “I must escape the clutches of this terrible feeling - anger. I reject anger. I pray for protection from anger. I ask for help and blessings. Help me do this, bless me so
that I can put an end to anger, eradicate it along with the reasons that give rise to it, once and for all!”

Don't try to jump over your head. If on Friday you decided that you will not invite “Dr. Frankenstein” to visit you at least until Monday, and by Saturday you are already yearning for him, pray. Mentally imagine the light emanating from enlightened beings. Let this light fill your body and wash away from you all your filth, all hatred, all anger and irritability. Feel how all the bad things leave you. You are now happy, open and wise, and your body is filled with light. This meditation is thousands of years old. Great mentors and spiritual teachers have recommended its use to help ourselves and others overcome anger.

The most liberating thing is realizing that people will never “understand” you. People always carry their own image of "you".

The practical core of Buddhism consists of the following principles:

- Do not commit evil
- Do good
- All thoughts are pure

One Chan teacher was asked about the essence of Buddhist teachings, and when he listed the above principles, the interlocutor said with disappointment: “And a three-year-old child can fully understand this.” To which the Chan teacher replied: “And an eighty-year-old man will not be able to fully implement this.”

When you live in harmony with yourself, you are able to get along with others.
To be happy, you need to achieve perfection in the moral, social and spiritual spheres.

You should not strive only for physical health and the joys of life. One must persistently strive to control the mind. He who becomes a slave to his mind inevitably becomes weak, no matter how powerful he may be.

So you have to make the mind your obedient servant. The power of the mind is incomparable. It is from the mind that the most precious virtues come. If wealth is lost, it can be earned again. If health is lost, it can be restored with the help of a qualified doctor. But if human values are lost, human life becomes a waste.

Human values are the need of this time. They cannot be acquired solely from sacred texts and cannot be transmitted by learned masters. They come from within. When we develop noble thoughts and follow the path of truth in our daily lives, human values blossom within us and protect us under all circumstances.

🍀 Sathya Sai Baba
How much time you spend studying each day is not as important as how regularly and focused you are in searching for answers to questions. If the teacher chews everything out for the student, he will live someone else’s life, with all the ensuing consequences. Everywhere your own experience is important, not the experience of others. The teacher can show you the path, but you still have to walk along it yourself.
If we manage to gain victory within, then the outside will take care of itself. And if there is confusion and anxiety in our souls, then even if we have a pleasant and comfortable life, we will not be able to enjoy what we have.
