According to Adam of Bremen, Freyr was associated with peace and pleasure, and was represented with a phallic statue in the Temple at Uppsala.
According to Snorri Sturluson, Freyr was "the most renowned of the æsir", and was venerated for good harvest and peace.

Comet Leonard: Now’s the time to start watching
It’s possible that Comet Leonard might reach 4th magnitude before its early January perihelion. Comet Leonard has been in the morning sky, but, in December, it'll become visible in the evening sky. All in all, it’s time to look for a comet! It’s a good binocular comet now and might be possible to be glimpsed with the eye alone in dark skies as 2021 draws to a close.
Or maybe not. Comets are unpredictable.
But C/2021 A1 (Leonard) is very much a comet worth watching.

HE COMET AND THE STAR CLUSTER: 12-2-21, Comet Leonard (C/2021 A1) had a close encounter with globular cluster Messier 3.
Austrian astrophotographer Michael Jaeger caught the comet passing over a ball of nearly a million stars:
On Dec. 12th, Comet Leonard makes its closest approach to Earth only 35 million kilometers away.
Most forecasters agree that the comet will reach magnitude +4,
easy to see in small telescopes and visible to the naked eye from dark-sky sites.
Messier 3 (M3 or NGC 5272) is a globular cluster of stars in the northern constellation of Canes Venatici.
It was discovered on May 3, 1764, and was the first Messier object to be discovered by Charles Messier himself.

Comet Leonard will be located very close to where we see the bright star Arcturus, in the constellation Boötes.
