Beware of the scribes

One thing I’ve learned over these past 3 yrs in separation…
I’d rather be alone and happy than falsely accused, married and miserable.
3 years now… I’ve been completely still… I’ve been celibate, I’ve been sober.
Still have a drink from time to time, but never drunk. I find it funny that the bartenders look at my $4.50 bar tab and ask, “That’s all you drank?”
My reply is: “I could’ve sworn drinking more was the problem, not drinking less…”
Even vaping THC oils is very moderate.. 1/2 gram of oil lasts me a week opposed to how it used to be (2 days)… and the more I make sense of myself, the less medicated I need to be…
1 month off cigarettes, using 8mg pouches instead, soon… nothing.
But yeah… 3 years… and not 1 attempt to reach out to me to make things right. As a matter of fact, I was told by a friend she blasts me on social media… Basically announcing to the world how she competes in parenting… How much better than dad she is… which means one thing… she’s indoctrinating my daughter to hate me… same thing she did with her daughters father which I witnessed first hand.
2024… contracts cut. Divorce. Marriage abandonment is a real thing.
I didn’t go anywhere, she did.
I’m through feeling guilty… I’m through living out a narrative I don’t agree with.. One I refuse to be a part of.
Happiness is a journey in its own.
I pray she’s happy, I pray she’s healthy… and I forgive her.
But from here on out, I consider myself single… as I have been even when married obviously.

A statement covertly made by her when we first got together… I didn’t think anything of it, but now?…
What I can say is this… fresher… but most definitely weaker in every aspect.
10 years old is when a child has the right to choose which parent they want to live with…
Let’s see what she’s accomplished in 3 years opposed to the 7 I spent raising our daughter while she wanted to be a “superstar” rather than a mother…
And for the whole world to witness and discuss… We didn’t sign a prenup… and I don’t want anything other than my daughter (if she chooses)… keep your dirty money… keep your “freshness”…
And finally… enjoy the show.
I take marriage vows serious…
In sickness and in health, rich or poor…
While I was getting sick (visibly gray), life insurance was mentioned…

She asked me once if I was Jewish…
If I was an entrepreneur of sorts…
If I had money stashed in other accounts….
Interesting questions to ask in the beginning of a relationship, no?
