The Spanish Navy’s tall sailing ship will visit London
A note to clear your diaries if you like ships, as the world's third largest tall sailing ship will visit London in July, and the public can go on board.

As an extra option, Spaniards who wish to take an oath or pledge before the flag of Spain on the ship may do so on Tuesday 2nd July at 11am. An application form is here and needs to be returned between 20th and 30th May 2024.

The Biden campaign is preparing for the worst as Democratic National Convention (DNC) planners think the main venue could be contentious, there’s a fear President Biden may get booed off the stage. “If there is one peep in that hall, the networks will be all over it,” a convention planner lamented.
McCormick Place, the DNC’s other Chicago venue could be filled with protesters. In anticipation of some rowdy opposition obtaining tickets, convention organizers said they’ll stage a war room and be prepared to drown them out with chants — “four more years” is always a standby — and block any banners with Biden-Harris signs.
