My spawn learning to tig weld
If the planet is a living entity, civilization is some sort of growing cancer that she actively tries to contain/destroy. Abandon a city for 10 years and see what happens. Mother Earth takes back what's hers. Every civilized person equals a cancer cell in this analogy.

It shimmers in gold and the clearest of red,
it rustles so slowly in the park
Autumn has come, and elms and maples
Now to the ground release their leaves:

“So fall, our leaves, fall softly and light,
we weave a blanket so warm and thick,
we weave a blanket for the ground.

See, winter is coming, and the weather is grey,
now we must give warmth and light!

We weave a blanket so warm and so nice,
that the flower children shall not freeze.

Sleep well all you flower children, sleep well, sleep tight,
we weave a blanket; golden red,
we weave a blanket for the ground.”
