"There is no reason why there should not be found a solution in the question of the youth education to the satisfaction of the church as well as of the HJ, so much the more as the HJ does not restrict in any way the religious activities of its members. Neither attendance at the Sunday services nor participation in other church gatherings is being made difficult for the Catholic Hitler boys on the part of the leadership of the HJ. If, on the occasion of some big youth demonstrations which don't take place too often, it was occasionally difficult for technical reasons to make it possible for the young people to attend church services it is by no means an indication of a sometimes alleged "antireligious" attitude of the HJ. I even am of the opinion that religious meetings and arrangements in particular religious youth leagues are not at all in contradiction to the totalitarian claim of the HJ. Every effort which aims to deepen and intensify religious life must not only be welcomed by a responsible youth leadership but also be furthered. I believe to have shown by the treaty with the Reich bishop of the Protestant church that the HJ is willing to concede necessary space to the religious youth education. However, it must be demanded that under the cover-name of religious education the youth should in no way be influenced politically."

Orthodox Christianity in Germany during the period of the Third Reich

The Christ-Resurrection Cathedral in Berlin was constructed in 1938 by the direct commission of Adolf Hitler as a gift to the Russian Orthodox Church. The plot of land was even purchased by the German government for this project.

The Reich helped resettle and maintain Orthodox Christian refugees who fled the Soviet Union.

The Third Reich was especially warm to the Orthodox Church and had a great interest in Russia's Church-State Symphonia model of church and state relations. The Third Reich sought to replicate this historically established Russian model in Germany.

Synopsis

Kinoaki predicts an impending attack on Japan by the United States that will leave no alternative to an existential war of attrition between the two powers, pitting Japan against an arrogant, racist enemy and overwhelming odds.

A copy of the book is alleged to have been stolen from Kinoaki himself by the book’s translator, Kilsoo Haan.

Some Japanese sources allege that the book is actually a work of propaganda, intended to lift civilian morale and reassure the public of that Japan will have a chance for a negotiated peace in the event it finds itself coerced into war with the United States.

One reviewer described the book as being "the Japanese equivalent of Mein Kampf."
