Adolf Hitler in a Samurai Kimono
Many doubted its authenticity and provenance. The photo is noticeably retouched, but its authenticity is indirectly confirmed by the event that preceded it.
As it turns out, this photograph was taken around 1936, to commemorate the signing of an international agreement between the Third Reich and Japan. This kimono was specially made for the Führer and presented by the Japanese ambassador.
The same picture can be found in a Japanese newspaper of the time (picture #4).
The newspaper, Asahi Shimbun, (picture #5) in the issue of August 1936 contains an article with the title: "Smile in a Japanese kimono, the joy of Führer Hitler. The kimono is made of linen cloth depicting the Swastika and the symbol of the city of Tokyo."
Shot #6 shows the gift of a kimono to Hitler by the Japanese Ambassador. The Führer inspects the gift.
Shots #7 and 8 show the making of the kimono by Japanese craftsmen.

Ethiopia and Japan: An Organic Alliance against the Liberal World Order?
The Meiji Constitution was used as a model for the 1931 Constitution of Ethiopia by the Ethiopian intellectual Tekle Hawariat Tekle Mariyam. This was one of the reasons why the progressive Ethiopian intelligentsia associated with Tekle Hawariat were known as "Japanizers". Ethiopia wanted to become a strong industrialized nation like Japan to resist Liberal Colonialism and eventually free Africa.
There was a popular speculation of a royal marriage between Japan and Ethiopia with Prince Lij Araya Abeba and Masako Kuroda, daughter of Viscount Hiroyuki Kuroda. However, tense pressure from Western countries undermined the relationship due to the fears of an 'anti-white counter polarity' nature behind the marriage and the arrangement was cancelled.

The great British Economist Arthur W. Kitson, after an interview with Hitler at the Berchtesgaden, wrote to a Canadian among other things:
"I have been forthright in the strictest intimacy with Hitler. He is indisputably a genius. No need to go into details; to list the main points is enough in this case. There is however only one thing I do not like about this man: Too many Virgin Marys and crucifixes in his private apartments. It reeks of popery."
Kurt Wilhelm Lüdecke, a close friend of the early Nazi circle, said in Montreal, in 1932, before Hitler was even the Führer:
"I was in his intimacy and I heard his confidences. I can speak of this with no problem since I am an unbeliever. Hitler has a fancy like all great men. His fancy is the Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ. He even claims that it was they who saved him when he was wounded in the trenches during the war. He claims he saw them and that he was told that he would defend Europe. We must forgive him for this weakness, because if it were not this one, it could have been a weakness of a more serious kind."

The Hitler Youth: Symphonia with Church and State
"There is no reason why there should not be found a solution in the question of the youth education to the satisfaction of the church as well as of the HJ, so much the more as the HJ does not restrict in any way the religious activities of its members. Neither attendance at the Sunday services nor participation in other church gatherings is being made difficult for the Catholic Hitler boys on the part of the leadership of the HJ. If, on the occasion of some big youth demonstrations which don't take place too often, it was occasionally difficult for technical reasons to make it possible for the young people to attend church services it is by no means an indication of a sometimes alleged "antireligious" attitude of the HJ. I even am of the opinion that religious meetings and arrangements in particular religious youth leagues are not at all in contradiction to the totalitarian claim of the HJ. Every effort which aims to deepen and intensify religious life must not only be welcomed by a responsible youth leadership but also be furthered. I believe to have shown by the treaty with the Reich bishop of the Protestant church that the HJ is willing to concede necessary space to the religious youth education. However, it must be demanded that under the cover-name of religious education the youth should in no way be influenced politically."
