Visible or Invisible
Sometimes I feel I only exist when itβs my birthday, or when someone needs something from me. The rest of the time, I vanish.
Not because Iβm goneβ
but because no oneβs looking.
I speak my truth,
but it only reaches those living the same lifeβ
souls who feel invisible too.
They hear me,
but theyβre far away,
out of reach.
The ones nearby?
They see fame.
They see noise.
They see whatβs trending.
To be seen by them, Iβd have to be famous.
Why is it that way?
Has everyone gone blind to whatβs real?
To the quiet truths beside them?
To the people who feel deeply but donβt perform loudly?
Am I a festival?
Only celebrated when the calendar says so?
Am I a tool?
Only picked up when someone needs something?
Am I seasonal?
Only relevant when it suits the moment?
Am I not here?
Am I not real?
Am I invisible?
Do you only miss me when you need something?
I am here.
