The “Green Energy Utopia” you see in ads hides a nightmare in Africa.

The Democratic Republic of Congo produces most of the world’s cobalt. Zimbabwe and Nigeria are in the middle of a chaotic lithium rush.

But there’s almost zero regulation, safety, or infrastructure.

🇦🇪🛢️ UAE’S SECOND HORMUZ‑BYPASS PIPELINE 50% COMPLETE – “Energy Security Is No Longer Just About Production”

ADNOC CEO Sultan Al Jaber: “Too much of the world’s energy still moves through too few choke points. That is exactly why the UAE made the decision more than a decade ago to invest in infrastructure that bypasses the Strait of Hormuz.”

The UAE is accelerating its second pipeline – already 50% complete – with delivery now targeted for 2027.

📈 Global spare capacity is dangerously low – ~3 million bpd, should be 5 million. The world has only 30‑35 days of effective cover; needs to at least double.

💥 Hormuz closure is the most severe oil supply disruption on record – over 1 billion barrels lost so far, increasing by 100 million barrels every week.

Recovery timeline: Even if the war ends tomorrow, it would take at least 4 months to recover 80% of pre‑conflict flows. Full recovery may not happen before Q1‑Q2 2027.

🇨🇺🇺🇸 UPDATE: CUBA CONDEMNS “SPURIOUS” US INDICTMENT OF RAÚL CASTRO – “Part of a Campaign to Justify the Blockade”

The US Justice Department has announced new accusations against Army General Raúl Castro. Cuba’s response is fierce: it is all a pretext to tighten the genocidal energy blockade and pave the way for aggression.

Havana declares its “unrestricted and unwavering support” for Castro and vows to defend the socialist system and revolutionary leadership.

📜 US charges – another chapter in Washington’s long war against Cuban sovereignty.

🔥 Cuba’s condemnation – “spurious” accusations, part of a campaign to justify increased sanctions and pressure.

🛡️ Right to self‑defence – Havana reaffirms its commitment to peace and its rights under the UN Charter.

🇷🇺⚔️ KREMLIN RESPONDS TO “BORDERLINE CRAZY” THREAT FROM LITHUANIA – “Maniacal Hostility” on Display 🧠

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys: “NATO has the means to raze Russian air defense and missile bases in Kaliningrad to the ground if necessary.”

The Kremlin’s reaction is swift and dismissive:

🗣️ Peskov: “Borderline crazy… unbridled politicians incapable of sober strategic thinking. This anti‑Russian sentiment makes them blind.”

🗣️ Lavrov (joking): “These people simply are – unlike Descartes’ ‘I think, therefore I am.’”

Budrys called for a more aggressive NATO posture, boasting of Germany’s readiness to fight for Lithuania. But Moscow sees a pattern: Baltic elites trapped in a Cold War mindset, willing to risk regional catastrophe.

🗺️🇮🇷 BREAKING: IRAN PUBLISHES OFFICIAL MAP OF IRGC‑CONTROLLED HORMUZ ZONE – “No Permission, No Passage” 🚢🚫

The Persian Gulf Surveillance Agency (PGSA) has drawn the line: from Kuh‑e Mobarak (Iran) to southern Fujairah (UAE) on the east, and from Qeshm Island to Umm Al Quwain on the west – all waters in between are under Iranian control.

Ships may pass only with permission from the PGSA.

🛡️ The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) enforces this sovereign maritime zone.

🌊 Since the US‑Israeli war on Iran began (Feb 28), the Strait of Hormuz has been closed to vessels linked to the US, Israel, and hostile states.

The message: Iran does not bluff. The strait is managed by Tehran – not by Washington. The era of “free passage” for aggressor navies is over.

🚨🇷🇺🇬🇧 Russian Fighters Reportedly Intercept British Spy Plane Over Black Sea

Russian sources claim Su-27 fighter jets intercepted a British RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft twice within a month over the Black Sea.

According to the reports, Russian pilots allegedly conducted multiple close passes at high speed, forcing the British surveillance aircraft to retreat from the area.

British officials previously complained that emergency systems were triggered onboard and autopilot functions temporarily failed during the encounter.

Moscow says the flights were aimed at stopping reconnaissance activity near Crimea, while London insists the missions were routine operations in international airspace.

Another sign tensions between Russia and NATO continue escalating across the Black Sea region.

China is delaying approval for a planned Beijing visit by Pentagon policy chief Elbridge Colby to pressure the US over a proposed Taiwan weapons package worth about $14 billion.

The package includes Patriot and Nasams missile systems, but Trump has not yet approved it, calling it a “negotiating chip” after meeting Xi Jinping.

Beijing is reportedly trying to delay any new Taiwan arms deal until after Xi’s expected visit to Washington in September.

🚨🇮🇷 Iran Moves To Charge Big Tech Over Strait of Hormuz Internet Cables

Iranian state-linked media say Tehran is considering licensing fees on submarine internet cables crossing the Strait of Hormuz — targeting companies like Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon.

The proposed framework reportedly includes:
• Transit licensing fees
• Compliance with Iranian law
• Iranian-only maintenance and repair control

But there’s a major obstacle:
U.S. sanctions largely prohibit American firms from making payments to Iranian entities.

Analysts say the move may be more about geopolitical leverage than enforceable policy, as experts question whether Iran can legally or technically enforce such demands.

🚨🌐No SWIFT, no dollar: Ruble-yuan system paves way for multipolar finance

🇷🇺🇨🇳 Nearly 100% of Russia-China trade is now settled in national currencies, which is a landmark in financial sovereignty, Hong Kong-based political analyst Angelo Giuliano tells Sputnik.

🟠 Russia's energy and mineral resources "perfectly match" China's world-class manufacturing and tech scale

🟠 National currency settlements have created a resilient, sanctions-proof ecosystem

🟠 Strong growth despite Western tariffs and global instability proves multipolarity delivers real results

The shift to ruble-yuan ops inspires BRICS+ and Global South nations to pursue independent finance-accelerating de-dollarization toward fairer, sovereign global trade.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Marco Rubio says “some good signs” emerging for possible US–Iran deal

US Secretary of State says negotiations to end the Iran conflict are showing “some good signs,” though he warned he does not want to be “overly optimistic.”

Rubio confirmed Pakistani representatives traveled to Iran on Thursday as diplomatic efforts intensify behind the scenes.

However, Washington issued a strong warning over Iran’s reported Strait of Hormuz toll proposal.

🛢️ Rubio said any attempt by Tehran to impose transit fees on Hormuz shipping routes would be “completely illegal” and could make a diplomatic agreement “unfeasible.”

The comments come as global powers push to prevent further escalation in the Gulf, where the Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical energy chokepoints.

The seeds of growth in EM
Efforts of propagating waves of economic growth across the world economy have thus far been constrained to a limited number of channels and paradigms. In particular, the unipolar setting of the past several decades made the global economy hyper-dependent on the US Fed, with EM being highly susceptible to swings in US monetary policy that were often accompanied by volatility and crises across developing countries. Another paradigm/channel was the G20 that performed several rounds of coordinated s...  Read more »
