This place is mysterious and surreal, but some legends and archeological clues indicate, that the natural formation could have been used as a ceremonial center prior to the arrival of Incas.
Getting there is not easy. If you manage to ignore the bumpy road, you can enjoy observing alien landscapes and the High Andes Range on the horizon. After getting to the destination, visitors need to cross the Arizano Salt Flat, before reaching the pyramid.

Aceste opere ale naturii sunt niste pietre cu origini supranaturale, dupa cum spun localnicii. Ele poarta numele de trovanti sau "pietre care cresc" sau chiar "pietre vii". Exista anumite voci care spun ca ar putea fi chiar marturii ale unor civilizatii extraterestre superioare.
Sunt stranii, bizare, au forme sferice, elipsoidale ori au aspectul cifrei opt. Au marimi diferite, de la cativa centimetri pana la cativa metri. "Se nasc" intr-un deal nisipos, se desprind dintr-o rapa si cad intr-o vale. Sunt pietrele din comuna valceana Costesti, denumite stiintific trovanti.
