If you look closely at today's satellite images, you will see a rounded trail near Drake's Passage. To me it looks like it had been done with intent, like a precision hit. If there was some kind of event dividing the lands, many people would be affected by such a catastrophe and surely it would be known around the world unless it was kept under wraps.
