Request TSA may have wasted more life-hours than were lost on 9/11 in NYC. Could this be so?

Including hours lost to people getting to airports early, potentially spending more time either in security lines or in the "sterile area"

Request How much light would the full proposed Reflect Orbital satellite array produce if all mirrors were pointed at the same spot?

Reflect Orbital was recently approved to launch a prototype satellite carrying an 18sqm mirror so they can reflect sunlight back at the earth at night. Reflect Orbital hopes to eventually launch 50,000 satellites equipped with 54sqm mirrors.

Imagine a bad actor hacks the mirrors and aims them all at a single spot. How bright would that spot be, and if it is extremely bright, what kind of physical effects might be felt in that location?

For simplicity's sake, let's pretend the same location on earth can see 50% (25,000) of the satellites at any one time, and there's no variation in luminosity based on environmental or orbital factors

How much water would be needed to put out the sun? request

https://preview.redd.it/0m42ylz2bpeh1.png?width=954&format=png&auto=webp&s=a61c7ce54f48e7b3c3e6d6cf3eca3d069b8f51d1

For example if all the space the universe takes up, would that put out the sun? I know the sun is nuclear, not a normal fire. But still, at some point would enough water do the trick?
