request Is there gravity at the center of the Earth?

Let's assume we're able to drill and travel to the center of the planet. In this example there are no problems with temperature. Once you reach that location there is a large hollow space. Let's say it's a mile diameter open sphere just for the heck of it.
Is there effectively zero (micro) gravity there since you are being pulled equally by the mass of the planet in all directions? Could you just walk around the walls?
