Horrible weekend to say the least, not the way we wanted to come back obviously. The first lap was good as a small positive, then the car shut off before we could restart. But it's okay, good job to our Ollie!

Summertime is always better together,
Summer escape with who ..?

Sunscreened noses, sticky fingers from frozen treats, and sandy toes that will take a week to clean out of the car. We spent the whole day with nowhere else to be, letting the ocean breeze drift through and the sun warm our skin. There was something nice about leaving our usual routines behind for a while, just walking wherever we wanted, stopping for cold drinks, laughing over the dumbest things, and letting every little moment turn into a memory. We wandered along the shore with sandy feet, talked until we lost track of time, and watched the sky slowly trade its blue for shades of gold and pink. Nothing particularly extraordinary happened, and maybe that’s what made it so good. just us, the beach, a little chaos, and a day we wouldn’t mind living twice. From building giant sandcastles at sunrise to catching the boardwalk fireworks as the sky went dark, every single minute has been dedicated to classic summer memories.
