Oh I hate the support and how they copypaste generic responces but I guess talking normally is too much to ask of a trillion dollar company
As for the permission thing some person gave me advice that instead querying for all packages and then filtering by launchable apps I could just query by launchable intent from start
So crisis averted
And if goolag told me that from the start I wouldn't waste a week

Yo guys
I'm making a cool app for rooted users (it'll be a surprise when I finish it) but in order for it to work I need to collect some analytics about Magisk modules
Please install the app, open it, and click the collect button
It should take just a couple of seconds
(Obviously no sensitive nor personal data is collected, and I hope y'all can trust me on that one)

Presenting CSM3 — CrowdSourcedMagiskModuleManager
Y'know what I always couldn't fathom? WHY THE FUCK ARE WE STILL DOING THOSE STUPID REPOS??
There's very limited amount of modules, they aren't updated that frequently and you would either way just update it from magisk manager
Most of the modules come with update.json which allows updating em without any centralized repos for files hosting
This app solves this issue
It collect update links from modules you have installed on your device and saves them to a database
The more users use this the more complete database is
All files come from official Dev's sources, meaning those will be likely the most up-to-date
This is a very early version that I release for testing
As of now I am gonna update the list periodically, like a couple times per day until I figure out how to deal with free database limits (it allows only 360mb of downloads daily)
Please test this out, and leave your feedback in comments below 👇
