Qué son, son una raza?/ Who are them, a race?:
Los gigantes de Alabastro son seres constructos de la familia de los Aspectos puros, por lo que están relacionados estrechamente a los Aspectos de Luz, los centauros de Alabastro y son los creadores de los marblefolks, quienes son sus sirvientes y los veneran como dioses.
Los gigantes de Alabastro fueron esculpidos en los albores del tiempo según los mitos de los antiguos gigantes, y fueron esculpidos sus núcleos de luz elemental pura cristalizada, y sus cuerpos de alabastro, blanco y negro, para dotarlos de una magnífica silueta que resplandecía con el sol.
No se sabe qué Dios gigante esculpió a los gigantes de alabastro a su semejanza, pero todo apunta a Skoreaus, el primero de los gigantes de Roca. Alabaster giants are constructs belonging to the family of Pure Aspects; thus, they are closely related to the Aspects of Light and the Alabaster centaurs, and they are the creators of the Marblefolk, who serve and worship them as gods. According to the myths of the ancient giants, the Alabaster giants were sculpted at the dawn of time; their cores were formed from crystallized pure elemental light, and their bodies from black and white alabaster, giving them a magnificent silhouette that gleamed in the sunlight. It is unknown which giant god sculpted the Alabaster giants in his own image, but all signs point to Skoreaus, the first of the Rock giants. The only evidence of this—aside from legend—is the fact that Stone giants and Alabaster giants can mate; the female gives birth to a new core, and both parents select a block of Rock or Alabaster so that their child may be born as an Aspect. Although all giants descend from primordial elemental forces, the Alabaster giants are the only ones who possess a heart-shaped core.

Los gigantes de alabastro se dividen en dos clanes: el clan del Día y el de la Noche.
Los gigantes Blancos son hedonistas, orgullosos, groseros incluso con otros gigantes de rango social superior, los gigantes blancos se ven a sí mismos como Criaturas perfectas de la creación, y sólo por su belleza exigen ser venerados. The alabaster giants are divided into two clans: the Day clan and the Night clan.
The White giants are hedonistic, proud, and even rude toward other giants of higher social standing; they view themselves as perfect creatures of creation and demand veneration solely on the basis of their beauty. The architecture of the White Alabaster giants is exquisite; they love pantheons—structures for which they possess a keen eye for detail. Nevertheless, in the society of both clans, the ruler is the wisest among them—usually the eldest.

The society of the Black giants, by contrast, favors more subtle architecture; they are gentle toward nature, and their subjects are their protégés rather than their slaves. The White giants envy the natural beauty of the Black giants' golden eyes; fortunately, the White giants loathe the night—a time the Black giants love. The Black giants hold the benevolent giant races—Rock, Cloud, and Storm giants—in high regard, while feeling revulsion toward the evil ones, though they do not treat them with disrespect.

Tienen un lugar en el Ordning?/ They have a place in the Ordning?:

Tienen un lugar muy privilegiado en el Ordning, siendo que son los segundos por debajo de los gigantes de la Tormenta, un gigante de Alabastro es siempre más alto que un gigante de las Nubes y nunca más alto que un gigante de las Tormentas.

Como su deidad es desconocida, la mayoría adoran a Skoreaus, el Dios de los Gigantes de Piedra, ya que el Dios valora la belleza y la artesanía.
Cada uno de los dos Clanes tiene un embajador, y es conocido que ambos son cónyuges a pesar de las diferencias de sus pueblos, estos gigantes aún recuerdan los tiempos en que sus abuelos lucharon la guerra contra los Dragones.

Cuando un grupo de Gigantes de Alabastro asiste a una reunión de gigantes, ya sea del Ordning o por un motivo concreto, sus regalos son Jarras de Vino, Aceite, Rebaños de Ganado y fina artesanía, en las reuniones, los clanes olvidan las diferencias, y es el momento dónde viejos amigos y amantes prohibidos se reúnen.

Si no hay gigantes de las Tormentas en el Territorio, las responsabilidades consecuentes del Ordning podrían recaer en un Gigante de Alabastro

They hold a highly privileged position within the *Ordning*, ranking second only to the Storm Giants; an Alabaster Giant is always taller than a Cloud Giant but never taller than a Storm Giant.

As their own deity is unknown, most worship Skoreaus, the God of Stone Giants, for he values beauty and craftsmanship.
Each of the two clans has an ambassador, and the two are known to be spouses despite the differences between their peoples; these giants still remember the times when their forebears fought in the war against the dragons.

The voices of the Alabaster Giants carry weight, for they revere knowledge—a trait greatly appreciated by Cloud and Storm Giants—while their devotion to beauty, whether in themselves or in the natural world, pleases their spiritual brethren: the Stone Giants.
When a group of Alabaster Giants attends a gathering—whether part of the *Ordning* or for a specific purpose—they bring gifts such as flagons of wine, oil, herds of livestock, and fine craftsmanship. At these gatherings, clans set aside their differences, and it is a time when old friends and forbidden lovers reunite.

If no Storm Giants are present in the territory, the responsibilities associated with the *Ordning* may fall to an Alabaster Giant.

En las Hembras sí
Para crear a un nuevo gigante, se necesita la energía del núcleo de un macho y una hembra, con el tiempo, la hembra da a luz a un núcleo, y los padres escogen una losa de alabastro de la que el núcleo esculpirá al nuevo niño.
Los gigantes necesitan energía vital y piedras blancas o negras para crecer, cuando aún no se valen por si mismos las madres gigantes los amamantan con esa energía a través de sus senos.
Ya crecido, un gigante puede obtener energía vital de prácticamente todo lo natural, pero sobre todo de los seres vivos.

Una vez que el gigante haya acumulado la suficiente energía vital y la suficiente cantidad de minerales, crece en un adulto. Por eso son tan venerados los ancianos, son quiénes más tiempo han dedicado a buscar energía para subsistir.
Sin energía, un gigante de Alabastro muere de hambre a los pocos días, convirtiéndose su cadáver en una imponente estatua en el paisaje, o, si hay otros gigantes cerca...
Sus entierros son bien hornados, y los difuntos son llevados en procesión en grandes féretros de alabastro y oro y sepultados en bóvedas según su familia y rol social, las bóvedas son lugares de reunión sagrados para los gigantes de Alabastro.

In the case of females, yes.
To create a new giant, the core energy of both a male and a female is required; in time, the female gives birth to a core, and the parents select an alabaster slab from which the core will sculpt the new child.
Giants require life energy and white or black stones to grow; while they are still unable to fend for themselves, giant mothers nurse them with this energy through their breasts.
Once grown, a giant can derive life energy from virtually anything in nature, though primarily from living beings.
After a giant has accumulated sufficient life energy and minerals, they mature into an adult. This is why the elders are so revered; they are the ones who have dedicated the most time to seeking the energy needed for survival.
Without energy, an Alabaster giant starves to death within a few days, their corpse becoming an imposing statue in the landscape—or, if other giants are nearby...
Their burials are solemn affairs; the deceased are carried in procession within large coffins of alabaster and gold and interred in vaults determined by family and social role. These vaults serve as sacred gathering places for the Alabaster giants.

El Impulso Creador/ The Creative Pulse:

Según Skoreaus, la creación es una virtud, y uno se vuelve uno con él mientras crea, los Gigantes de Alabastro llevaron esto al límite de lo sublime
Usando fragmentos de sus propios núcleos, o aspectos de luz que recolectaban de sus tierras natales, los gigantes creaban vida, diferentes Aspectos, varias maravillas vivas o autómatas son de su creación: los marblefolks, los canes de mármol, los Espectadores.
Y aunque lo parezca, los Centauros de Alabastro no son su creación, sino sus primos lejanos presumiblemente obra también de Skoreaus.

According to Skoreaus, creation is a virtue—an act in which the creator becomes one with their work—and the Alabaster Giants took this to the realm of the sublime. Using fragments of their own cores, or aspects of light gathered from their homelands, the giants created life; various Aspects and living marvels—or automata—were born of their handiwork, such as the Marblefolk, the Marble Hounds, and the Espectators. And though it might appear otherwise, the Alabaster Centaurs are not their creation, but rather their distant cousins—presumably also the work of Skoreaus.
