🇺🇦🇷🇺 Parts of the 72nd Brigade have started to "quietly withdraw" from Ugledar to more favourable defensive positions, Forbes writes.
"I have the impression that Ukraine is gradually withdrawing its troops in order to surrender territory to Russia," OSINT analyst Andrew Perpetua said.
The publication suggests that Ukrainian forces may be withdrawn north of Ugledar, to the village of Bohoyavlenka.
Forbes considers Kiev's operation in Kursk Region as the reason for the retreat from Ugledar, which the Ukrainian armed forces have been holding since the beginning of the full-scale war.
"Ukrainian defences in the east and were sagging even before the general staff in Kiev ordered units from about eight brigades to attack across the border in Kursk region last month. Now the defence is sagging faster," the article said.
