LARGE TORNADO JUST REPORTED BY STORM CHASER, ON THE GROUND SOUTHWEST OF WINONA MISSISSIPPI

Tornado confirmed on the ground southwest of Winona Mississippi by storm chaser/trained spotter Brad Arnold.

Tonight, scores of storm chasers in Mississippi turned their personal vehicles into makeshift Ambulances & are making multiple trips bringing tornado victims to Vicksburg, MS Hospital Emergency Rooms

It feels eerie & it gives me chills saying it but I can’t help it: this is strikingly reminiscent of the Greensburg Kansas nocturnal violent tornado.

Amory, Mississippi Fire Dept reporting north side of town took a direct hit from this tornado & is reporting major damage. Multiple people entrapped.

The reports out of Amory are scary. No word yet from Smithville.

Amory MS FD reporting they ‘cannot even get to most parts of the town’ due to debris.

When you hear over open radio channel from a town’s FD that ‘all of the north side of town is gone’ it gives ya chills. 🥺

Look at those radar images. Debris was being lofted above 30,000 feet.
