I’ve made a point not to pile onto DeSantis v. Trump palace intrigue but I personally believe it would be inappropriate for RD to run in 2024.
Not as a slight to Trump, though you could make that case given that Trump made RD’s way.
Trump was always in for 2024, if he wasn’t reinstated. Everyone knew that.
RD ran for re-election. He owes his voters at least half that term. To run for re-election if running for POTUS within six months is… deceptive.
