What we've learned today is genuinely shocking: ✅An FBI official doctored an email to change the original intent (to secure a FISA warrant) ✅The FBI used Trump campaign's intel briefings as chance to spy on them ✅ The Steele Dossier was the foundation of…
Here’s the deal: the Horowitz report details facts that past (existing?) FBI procedures set a “very low bar” for initiating FISA investigations. And we know that the Carter Page FISA application was almost entirely based on information from the debunked Democrat-funded opposition research called the “Steele dossier.” And we know that FISA warrant was pursued based on the “flimsiest of evidence and justification.” Question: if the approved FISA warrant app was flimsy, then what the hell did the FBI take to the FISC when they got turned down the first time?

More: they knew the Steele dossier was all lies before they brought the FIRST Carter Page FISA app to the court, then they used what they knew were lies for THREE sequential renewals....there is no conceivable explanation for this other than it was an effort to spy on Donald Trump & his campaign- in order to prevent his being elected and later to be removed.
Horowitz stated *explicitly* today that he cannot rule that out. Its obvious to literally everyone looking at these events honestly.
Today, even Never Trumpers like Ben Sasse were forced to admit this, & said it publicly on the record in the hearing.
The ‘predicate’ to open the investigation isnt relevant. The abuse of FISA to try to destroy a political enemy & later the elected President of the United States IS what matters.
This was undeniably a coup.

This was James Clapper blaming Obama for spygate earlier today. This is the 3rd time he’s done that. The #spygate conspirators are scared.

Kim Strassell just wrote a thread asking a damn good question. And her question tells us *exactly* why #FusionGPS Glenn Simpson hid from and refused to talk to DOJ OIG Horowitz.

1) Buried in the IG report is a line that poses an enormous question, one that is central to everything, and really must be answered. Remember: According to all relevant players, prior to July of 2016, nobody had a Trump-Russia collusion narrative on their…

Watching @seanhannity saying how Wray needs to be firing some folks. He needs to start in OPR, where I understand McCabe cronies are still in positions of power re personnel actions. Right @vabelle2010 ?
In legal terms, this is what we call ‘motive’.

@BuckSexton @kerpen Mrs. Comey, in an ABC News interview, said, "I wanted a woman president really badly and supported Hillary Clinton." So did many around her: "[a] lot of my friends worked for her, and I was devastated when she lost."
