The barge situation on the Mississippi comes at a terrible time for an already fragile supply chain for farm to table.

As the Zerohedge article points out, the cause is low water levels on the river, which is not a manmade situation; it isn't due to anthropogenic "climate change", but rather a La Nina cycle.

This is just nature being nature--throwing harvest distribution systems a curveball.

HOWEVER, the reason that there is a higher demand for barge shipping is because something GOVERNMENT does control is also prohibitively expensive, for entirely man-made reasons: diesel fuel for long haul trucking.

We can't solve the weather...but we sure as heck CAN solve the fuel price crisis--by firing those in the administration who deliberately, consciously, purposefully created this pain for we the people.

Midterms are coming; vote like your lives depend on it--because they do.

Vote out all progressive, leftist, socialist, and communist types. Vote out all Democrats. Or the pain gets worse as time goes on.

Russia invaded Ukraine. That is a fact.

The Biden Administration did almost nothing to prevent that. That is a fact.

Ukraine has been shelling its own people in the Donbass for 8 years. That is a fact.

The people in the Donbass didn’t accept the shady elections that put Zelenskyy in office, largely enabled by the Obama Administration. That is a fact.

Ukraine has been a pet project for the Democrats in DC for 8 years. And because of that, there has been catastrophic loss of life on both the Ukrainian and Russian side. There is an existing threat to Europe not seen in 80 years. US foreign policy has weakened globally. Our oil reserves are at their lowest in 40 years.

Oh, and there are legitimate Nazi larpers in Ukraine who the Democrats and Republicans both are arming with U.S. weapons on the U.S. taxpayer dollar. By the billions.

This November is about much more than just rainbow flags in schools and high crime. Not to make those things diminutive, but they won’t matter much if we are under the thumb of a foreign nation or breathing radiation.
