I want to share some thoughts from my experiences over the past couple of days.

I attended 3 political events over the past 36 hours.
Herschel/Nikki Haley rally
Frontline Policy gala/keynote speaker- Mike Pompeo
Cobb GOP breakfast this morning.
First, please know that I would not vote for Haley or Pompeo in a primary.
But, you know what?
I appreciate the fact that they are team players.
Nikki is going across the country to speak to different audiences to try and coalesce voters around our candidates. Even the ones she did not support in the Primaries.
She speaks to the GOPe.
Pompeo is going around the country stumping for candidates. As he said last night. Even the ones I didn't support in the Primaries.
Why are they doing this?
Because they know how bad our opponents are.
This morning at our breakfast, we had several of the candidates speak.
I am excited about the possibilities we have in Cobb to retake our county. Every single one of them talked about their door knocking experiences at DEMOCRAT doors.
They are doing the work. Building a coalition.
Like my friend Leroy said this morning. It is going to take EVERY SINGLE vote to defeat the Marxists.
And yes. That is what we are facing. Their masks are off.
Did we get everything we wanted in the Primaries?
No.
But, I would rather vote for someone I agree with on 80% of issues than someone who literally would like to see me in jail because I am in the opposing party.
Those are the stakes now.
Focus on November.
The 2024 battle is a long way away.
November is the goal.
Steely Resolve
Determination.
Commitment
Prayer
Action
Involvement
Utter Defeat of the people who are actually doing harm to us personally.
And PS.
Yesterday Herschel and Kemp did events with Nikki.
Today both of them were in Rome at an event with MTG.
We are all hands on deck, people.
Are we going to continue to squabble about purity, or are we going to save our country?

I do a daily read through the Bible. Last Saturday the daily reading was Psalm 143. I have read this passage hundreds of times in my life, but it struck me differently this time. It took me a week of meditating on it before I thought I should write about it. Here is the passage. Psalm 143
A psalm of David.
1 Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
2 Do not bring your servant into judgment,
for no one living is righteous before you.
3 The enemy pursues me,
he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in the darkness
like those long dead.
4 So my spirit grows faint within me;
my heart within me is dismayed.
5 I remember the days of long ago;
I meditate on all your works
and consider what your hands have done.
6 I spread out my hands to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land.[a]

7 Answer me quickly, Lord;
my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me
or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.
9 Rescue me from my enemies, Lord,
for I hide myself in you.

destroy all my foes,

Honestly, it struck me differently this time because I never really felt like I had enemies who were targeting me in my life before.

I thought about how David must have felt at the time. He was running from Saul and in hiding for his life. He knew he was God's annointed. He knew God would be glorified in the end. But, he had reached the end of himself, and reached out to GOD because that is where he knew the help would come from.

That is why I added Prayer to my list this week.

I don't think we take that part of our mission seriously.


We are in a spiritual war right now. I have never prayed to "destroy my foes" I never felt that close of an attack before, I guess.

But we are dealing with true evil, imo. I had several conversations with people trying to distinguish things.

The man on the street is not my "enemy" I need to try and persuade them as much as possible.

The PTB are our 'enemies'. Just like Saul was David's enemy.

Why am I sharing this?

I guess because it was a different way of praying for me.

Have you prayed directly that your enemies will be destroyed?

I have never done that before.

No I haven’t prayed for God to destroy our enemies and I venture to say very few have because it’s not in us as Christians to be that way and I think that’s why so far The evil that we’re fighting is succeeding: We have been failing in our prayers to address that but I think it’s time we don’t fail any more in that aspect— it’s time to start actively praying that God destroys our enemies.

Let me be clear, *we* are the GOOD guys.

We are fighting to protect innocent babies from abortion.
We are fighting Evil people from sexually grooming kids for molestation.
We are fighting the physical destruction of kids by deviant pervs pushing trans agenda.
We are fighting for Human Rights like free speech & the right to self defense, against the criminals & terrorists who oppose us, & *against those official forces protecting them, & rights to privacy & religious freedom.
We are fighting for America.
We are fighting religious, racial & political persecution.
We are God’s Soldiers doing His will.

They are The Bad Guys.
Pray. Pray not only for God’s grace, strength & deliverance, but for God to strike down the Evil we are fighting.

I will never forget the first Trump event I attended in 2016

I was still not convinced that he would be a good president. But I knew Hilary was a dumpster fire I would never vote for.

Ivanka and Tiffany came to the Cobb GOP on a bus tour.

I decided to go.

Didn't pre register because I didn't hear about it until about an hour before

Was not involved then...

Stood in line to get inside and questioned the people in line why they were voting for Trump.

Everyone I asked, no matter what age said he made them feel safe. I honestly didn't understand that. I didn't feel fear at that time.

Now I do.
