Many people think of Elizabeth just as the Queen mother, or Queen of England- a sovereign foreign leader. Many dont know that as a young woman, Elizabeth left the safety & security of the Royal family & enlisted as a rank & file soldier in the Brittish army womens corps, during the Second World War. She was a WWII veteran. I will mourn her loss with those in the UK because Elizabeth was simply a good person, who devoted her entire life to serving her people. The world is a smaller, less good place today. To our friends in the UK, we feel your loss & we salute you, Elizabeth. ✝️
