Elected officials in New York City and three of the city’s pension funds are pushing credit card providers American Express and Mastercard to start tracking spending on firearms, in an effort to catch suspicious sales.
About 50 state lawmakers in New York wrote a letter to Mastercard and American Express asking them to start coding sales of firearms and ammunition under a special category so that law enforcement can easily track these sales.

Basically, the consultant class is mad because they have not been consulted.
And Scott has grown the NRSC donor base
Raised more $$ than any other GOP organization (except Trump)
96% of them are voters...
Average donation is $38
Not corporations...
Think about how that changes the dynamics in DC..
Being accountable to voters, not big donors.
No wonder they hate him so much.
