Either way, the FBI was looking at a massive scandal that would implicate top DOD officials and Intel agency officials. They were faced with two options: pull the lid off this Pandora’s Box and pursue it where ever it led OR make it go away by flipping it on the whistleblowers who brought the Konnech data to them, Gregg Phillips and Catherine Engelbrecht of True The Vote.
