In my article for UncoverDC discussing recent Second Amendment legal developments, i talked about the US Supreme Court setting a trap for activist lower courts, in order to deal with their unwillingness to follow SCOTUS rulings & instead go rogue. The first such challenge to that activism has now been launched, asking the US Supreme Court to step in & deal with it directly. A pro gun Rep got Jerry Nadler to admit his upcoming assault weapons ban violates US Supreme Court decision Heller v DC. It’s unconstitutional on its face. It also violates landmark US Supreme Court decision in NY State Rifle & Pistol Assoc v Bruen. They KNOW their bill violates the law- the US Constitution & Bill of Rights, but their shoving it through anyway.
