From the Naked Emperor. Keeping people in a constant state of anxiety or fear seems to be a purposeful objective. Do you know what happens to your immune system when you are chronically anxious? It is weakened. Almost seems like that is an objective of some cabal.

A brief thought exercise on the short sightedness & lunacy of leftist activists as viewed through the environmentalism or climate change cult:
Most people that you may hear sounding the alarm about global overpopulation are large city dwelling urbanites whose lives & frames of reference never leave places like Los Angeles, Chicago, NYC, Berlin and the sort.
Not only are these people typically unable to empathize with the values of small to mid city or rural society dwellers, but they often don't even compute the large swaths of available, unpopulated land in places like Montanna, Utah, Alabama, South Dakota, or the plains of Africa & other rural locations around the globe (of which there are many).
Instead, these people will force apply their own life experience of living in highly dense urban areas to levy their claims of overpopulation.
Because they are part of a cult, they participate in group think and refuse to expand their vision beyond their own experience, because their friends and colleagues all share the same view & personal experience.
Many then use these experiences in dense urban areas to claim the globe is overpopulated, even though the hard data shows the opposite to be true.
Elon Musk pointed this out on Twitter but didn't elaborate.
The Replacement Rate is a mathematical truth, a formula that says families in Western societies need to have at minimum a specific average number of children in order for the society to survive.
The Replacement Rate for the USA is 2.1 children per family, and like most of the western world, we are woefully under that average.
Yet the climate cult continue with the overpopulation nonsense.
Why? Because they're in a religious cult, and their dogma demands it.
Marc Andressen was recently on the Joe Rogan podcast where he briefly discussed this.
When you try to have a good faith debate with climate cultists about solutions, they will almost always devolve the conversation to the need to reduce populations.
Despite nuclear energy being the true green solution that could meet their climate and our power needs, they refuse to even discuss it. Why?
Cult.
Andressen mentioned that this depopulation cult has been around for a long time.
First it was all of the "smart people" and elites saying that we needed to implement eugenics. Hitler turned that into a dirty word, but several PR makeovers and evolutions have brought those same ideas forth in our present iteraration to the climate cultists.
Some may say that the issue of overpopulation is not space to live, but rather food & resources.
Thomas Sowell tackles this point in his book Basic Economics, in that our society's growing obesity epidemic shows that we have far too much food, not too little.
But those cultists pushing the body positivity mantra don't want you to listen to that basic economic pronciple. Why?
Cult.
In summary, we are allowing the conversation to be driven in both popular culture and academics by not only cultists, but by people who lack the ability to see outside of their own narrow life experience.
Next time you hear one of them talking about our dire overpopulation or need to reduce Carbon emissions (which the US already lead the world on sans-Paris climate accords), do a bit of quick due diligence to check:
1.does this person promote clean & green nuclear energy?
2. Does this person live in a highly dense urban area?
You will find a striking correlation when you begin to view these cultists for what they really are.
