What happened to Texas?

Tony makes an excellent point here: the Supreme Court has ruled *twice* that cops are not responsible for protecting you. As Horrific as it was watching them stand by & cower as kids were murdered, they aren’t legally required to go in and stop it. Morally i think they are obligated to, but not legally. Which is yet another reason an unrestricted #2A is so important: your safety is YOUR responsibility- and as such YOU should be able select the tool most suitable to your needs, to carry it, and employ it to save life when necessary. Whether thats a teacher who concealed carries in class or a janitor who concealed carries while on the job at school or a person who keeps body armor & an AR-15 in the car to respond to a mass shooting at the office & fight back.

Your safety is your responsibility. Stripping you of the tools & ability to protect yourself & your loved ones & forcing you to depend on the people with no legal duty to protect any of you is both criminal & evil.
