NEW - U.S. Department of Homeland Security is creating a new "Disinformation Governance Board" to "coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security."
Nina Jankowicz will head the new DHS board. In October 2020, Jankowicz seemed to find the letter signed by 50 former NatSec officials and five former CIA directors saying the Hunter Biden laptop story was likely a Russian influence operation convincing enough.
The letter later turned out to be disinformation.
