JUST IN - Twitter employees apparently added a public and empty repository called "the-algorithm" on the platform's Github account shortly before the source code was locked.
Musk said he wanted to make the Twitter algorithm open source.
For non-techies: It seems that some developers at Twitter wanted to send a message to Elon Musk by uploading this empty software repository.

The mantra seems to be we don't know if the votes were fraudulent or not.

Accountability needs to occur or it will happen again.
