I found a short video that does an excellent job of explaining why commodities in general will likely continue rise in value due to a worldwide phenomenon called de-dollarization. For those short on time, we're seeing nations buying/selling oil and other resources without US dollars, which has been the de facto currency for this pet Bretton Woods. Now that countries are looking outside the dollar, many are divesting themselves of US dollars. That means those dollars come back to the US and further increase the money supply, leading to even worse inflation.

I'm not joking here. She's not going to the SCOTUS. This is a train wreck. I expect the Biden admin. to try to stop the bleeding by withdrawing the nomination.

I watched a lot of SCOTUS nominee hearings over the years. Starting with the Bork hearings in 1987. [Yes, I am that old]

I've seen some exceptionally prepared judges at these hearings. Thomas, Scalia, Roberts, Alito, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, ACB were all well prepared for the grilling they knew they were going to get. They all acquitted themselves admirably, especially Kavanaugh, who was subjected to an unprecedented amount of hate.

Never in all the years I've been watching these has a nominee looked this unprepared. She didn't prepare herself and it looks to me like she either thought or was told she could just bluff her way through.

She didn't expect members of the Senate Judiciary Committee would thoroughly research her writings and opinions before this hearing? Confront her with her own written words? She's been burned 3 times on that assumption so far, this last one by Cruz leaving the biggest burn about CRT.

I have personally been smeared for being open about my Christian Faith. I have no doubt what she is saying is true. Christians today are one of the most persecuted groups on earth. And the political motive for targeting him still is there too.
