Judicial Watch Settles North Carolina Voter Roll Lawsuit After State Removes Over 430,000 Inactive Names From Rolls

Last night we had a meeting to kickoff the Special election for HD 45.

We have a special election to conduct before the May primary.

The election is the 1st week of April, and is a jungle primary that will need a runoff the 1st week of May.

The person who wins will hold the seat just until Nov because it is the old lines.

A new candidate will be chosen in the primary to run for the new seat in November.

The meeting was called as a kickoff for the election season to inform the precinct officers all the ways they can plug in and be involved to GOTV.

Why was I encouraged?

On a rainy Thursday night, about 100 people showed up.

The question was asked of the room. How many of you are new officers? Half the people raised their hands.

The special gives us the opportunity to test drive our GOTV and volunteer efforts for the primaries.

They have such a good plan.

HD 45 is a deep red district, but nothing is being left to chance.

1. Volunteers are being engaged to knock on doors and make calls to Hard GOP voters and do sign waving at the corner of Johnson Ferry and Roswell Road . If you live in Cobb and want to help with this, let me know.

2. Poll Workers and watchers are being recruited and trained.
There is a difference between poll workers and watchers. The former is paid by the county and the latter is a volunteer for the party. The county is hiring poll workers. If you are looking for a part time gig let me know and I will connect you with the Cobb GOP and they will recommend you to the county. The parties get to recommend and get priority . This is Important. Why? We will then have vetted people in the counting rooms. Cobb apparently has a big need right now for workers. This is important work that needs to be done.
Re the watchers. Last year for the special, I made calls to fill slots. A lot of the people I called came from other states to help us in 2020. That was sad to me. Currently, for the 2022 election season we have over 2000 'slots' that need to be filled from March-June and Oct-Nov. A slot is a half day shift at at location. Granted, you can volunteer for more than one slot. Currently, the team already has around 100 volunteers to fill those slots. They need many more.
There will be training the first week of March, and they have designed the training to be done either in person, through Zoom or via video from the comfort of your home.

3. I have spoken a lot about how the GOP is a bottom up party, and how the precinct officers are important. I met someone last night who wants to engage precinct officers on messaging to push through the media narrative. We are going to work together to develop some ideas utilizing CCRP Media.

I know this is in the weeds for some people.

But it is important for you to understand. People are motivated. People are energized. People are engaged. Things are happening.

So many people ask me, How can I help? I want to DO SOMETHING!

Well, here is your chance. Salleigh and her team are determined to find a place for everyone to plug in. And you don't have to be a 'member' to help.

We need all hands on deck. The question is, what will you do to take back our county, save our state from Stacey and save our country for your children's sake?

Regarding Precinct officers.
There are 147 precincts in Cobb. Each precinct has 4 officers. All of those slots are not filled. We need to fill all of them. Even if the officer positions are filled in your precinct, we need neighborhood and block captains. So there is a place for everyone.

Imagine this scenario: every precinct officer position filled. Every precinct having 10 block captains to engage their neighbors.

That is an army of over 2k people engaging the community, talking to people.
